Beatriz Bracher (born August 7, 1961) is a Brazilian writer.
Bracher was born in São Paulo, and studied Brazilian and Portuguese Literature at the Pontifical Catholic Universities of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. She was the founder and editor of the literary magazine 34 Letras from 1988 to 1991 and of Editora 34 publishing house, from 1992 to 2000. Bracher's first novel, Azul e Dura, was published in 2002. Her novel Anatomia do Paraíso (2015) won the São Paulo Prize for Literature and Rio Prize for Literature.Bracher wrote the screenplay for the films Cronicamente Inviável (2000), Os Inquilinos (2009, Best Screenplay award at Festival do Rio) and O Abismo Prateado (2011).
Patrícia Melo (born 1962 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian author. She has written The Killer and In Praise of Lies, among others. Her works have dealt with sex and violence in a heavily urbanized setting.She made her literary debut in 1994 with Acqua Toffana, and in 2001 she won the Jabuti Prize for Literature for her novel Inferno, as well as several international awards. In 1999, she was included by Time magazine among the five best Latin American authors of the new millennium. Her works have been sold to England, France, the United States, Germany, Italy, Spain and China, among other countries.

Luiz Felipe de Cerqueira e Silva Pondé (born April 29, 1959) is a Brazilian writer and professor of philosophy.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy. He was awarded a Doctor's Degree by the University of Sao Paulo, together with an exchange program with the University of Paris. He finished his Post-Doctorate at the University of Tel Aviv. Currently, he works as a professor in the Brazilian Educational Institution Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado and Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
He writes weekly for the Brazilian Newspaper Folha de S.Paulo and is the author of many works, being most famous for his book, "The Politically Incorrect Guide of Philosophy". He appears often on Jornal da Cultura, on TV Cultura.
Being of Sephardic Jewish descent, in a 2013 YouTube video, Pondé declared himself to be atheist but he would later abandon his views and become a critic of atheism and materialism. In 2020, he described himself as a "non-practicing atheist".
