Christian Marin (8 February 1929 – 5 September 2012) was a French film actor. Born in Lyon, he is best known for his role in Le gendarme series (as "Merlot"), although he did not appear in the last two sequels. In 1967 he appeared in the television serial Les Chevaliers du ciel, in which he portrayed the character Ernest Laverdure.

Olivier Marchal (born 14 November 1958) is a French actor, director, screenwriter, and a former policeman. In 2005, he was nominated for three César Awards (best director, best film and best writing) for his film 36 Quai des Orfèvres. He also created the popular French television police drama Braquo and wrote and directed some episodes in its first season (2009).

Philippe_Khorsand

Philippe Khorsand (February 17, 1948 – January 29, 2008) was a French actor. His father was Iranian and his mother was French. He first appeared in a number of small roles in the 1970s. One of his most memorable roles as husband and father in Tableau d'honneur (1992).
Khorsand died of a hemorrhage at the age of 59 in Paris.

His film Those Were the Days was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1995 Cannes Film Festival. He is most well known for his lead role in Les amitiés particulières, the film adaptation of the eponymous novel by Roger Peyrefitte, as Alexandre Motier.

Thierry_Fortineau

Thierry Fortineau (9 February 1953 – 8 February 2006) was a French actor.
Fortineau was born in Nantes. In the year of 1990, he was nominated for a César Award for Most Promising Actor at the 15th César Awards for his role in Comédie d'été. The award, however, went to Yvan Attal. In 1994, he was nominated for a Molière Award for Best Actor for his role in Le Visiteur.
Thierry Fortineau is the father of actress Jade Fortineau, born in 1991, from his relationship with Dutch actress Maruschka Detmers.
He died from cancer in Paris one day before his 53rd birthday, and was interred at the Père Lachaise Cemetery.
