Philippe Gardent (born 15 March 1964) is a French handball player who won a bronze medal at the 1992 Olympics. He played six matches and scored 16 goals. He was the captain of the French teams that won the world title in 1995 and placed second in 1993. Since retiring from competitions in 1996 he worked as a handball coach, with Chambéry Savoie Handball (1996–2012), Paris Saint-Germain Handball (2012–2015) and Fenix Toulouse Handball (since 2015).
Frédéric Demontfaucon (born 24 December 1973) is a French judoka. He won a bronze Metal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Followed by winning the 2001 world Championships. He moved up from The -90kg division to the -100kg division around 2007.
Virginie Dedieu (born 25 February 1979) is a French former synchronized swimmer and Olympic medalist.
Virginie won a bronze medal in the women's duet at the 2000 Summer Olympics with Myriam Lignot. She was also successful in the European and World Aquatics Championships, winning several medals.Dedieu was awarded the Legion of Honour on 1 January 2006.

Marcel Hansenne (January 24, 1917 – March 22, 2002) was a French middle distance runner, who won the bronze medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London over 800 m in a time of 1:49.8 min. The race was won by Mal Whitfield. Hansenne also equalled Rune Gustafsson's 1000 m world record of 2:21.4 in Gothenburg in 1948. Hansenne was born in Tourcoing.

Paul-Henri de Le Rue (born 17 April 1984) is a French snowboarder who competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. de le Rue won bronze in the men's snowboard cross event and is currently competing in the Freeride World Tour.[1]
He is the brother of snowboarders Xavier de Le Rue and Victor de Le Rue.
Frédéric Cottier (born 5 February 1954) is a French equestrian and Olympic medalist. He was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine. He won a bronze medal in show jumping at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.
Alexis Vastine (17 November 1986 – 9 March 2015) was a French boxer who won a bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the Light Welterweight division. He also competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics, where he was eliminated in the quarterfinals in a controversial decision. He died in the Villa Castelli helicopter collision during the filming of French TV reality show Dropped for the TF1 network.
