Sylvain_Guillaume

Sylvain Guillaume (born 6 July 1968 in Champagnole, Jura) is a former French nordic combined skier who competed during the 1990s. At the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville he won a silver in the 15 km individual, then a bronze in the 4 x 5 km team competition at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. He also won a bronze medal in the 15 km individual at the 1995 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Jean_Gounot

Jean Gounot (9 April 1894 – 16 January 1978) was a French gymnast and Olympic medalist. He competed at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp, where he received a bronze medal in all-round individual.At the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris he received a silver medal in sidehorse vault, and a silver medal and in team combined exercises.

Paul_Genevay

Paul Louis Marcel Genevay (21 January 1939 – 11 March 2022) was a French sprinter. He competed in the 200 m and 4 × 100 m events at the 1960 and 1964 Olympics and won a bronze medal in the relay in 1964. He failed to reach the final in three other competitions. Genevay won two gold and one silver medals in the sprint at the 1959 Mediterranean Games. He died on 11 March 2022, at the age of 83.

Alexandra_Ledermann

Alexandra Ledermann (born 14 May 1969) is a French equestrian and Olympic medalist. She won a bronze medal in show jumping at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.Ledermann was born in Évreux in 1969. In 1999, she became the first woman to win gold at the European Show Jumping Championships. As of 2019, Ledermann and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum of Germany were the only two women to have won this title.Ledermann lends her name to a series of equestrian-themed video games.

Paul Winter (February 6, 1906 – February 22, 1992) was a French athlete who competed mainly in the discus throw and also shotput. He was born in Ribeauvillé, Haut-Rhin.
He competed for a France in the 1932 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, California, in the discus throw where he won the bronze medal and also the 1936 Summer Olympics held in Berlin, Germany were he failed to qualify.He also won four French championships in 1931,1933, 1935 and 1937.

Jose_Beyaert

José Beyaert (1 October 1925 – 11 June 2005) was a French professional cyclist who competed during the 1940s and 1950s, and was the 1948 Olympics road race champion. Beyaert moved to Colombia in 1952 and lived there for several years where he was the coach to the national cycling team. He also competed in the Vuelta a Colombia which he won on his first attempt in 1952. He finished second the following year and eighth the year after. He also rode in the 1950 Tour de France and finished 47th overall.
