Karl Wilhelm von Meister (3 February 1863 – 14 February 1935) was a German politician and diplomat.

Otto Böckel (2 July 1859, Free City of Frankfurt – 17 September 1923, Michendorf) was a German populist politician who became one of the first to successfully exploit antisemitism as a political issue in the country.

Siegfried Ochs (19 April 1858 – 6 February 1929) was a German choral conductor and composer.

Johann Georg Mohr (1864–1943) was a German painter, associated with the Kronberger Malerkolonie.
He was born in the Free City of Frankfurt, where he studied at the Städelschule and at the Academy of Berlin. Among his classmates at the Städel Institute included Fritz Rumpf, Robert Forell, Oscar Goebel, Jacob Happ (1861-1936) and the sculptor Hugo Kauffmann. In the first decade of the 20th century Mohr founded his own art school in Frankfurt. He died at the age of 79 in his hometown.

Johann Heinrich Philipp Franck (9 April 1860, Frankfurt am Main - 13 March 1944, Berlin) was a German Impressionist painter, graphic artist and illustrator.

August Knoblauch (8 January 1863 in Frankfurt am Main – 24 August 1919 in Frankfurt am Main) was a German neurologist. He was a nephew of chemist August Kekulé.
He studied medicine and sciences at the universities of Berlin, Bonn, Strasbourg and Heidelberg. In 1888 he received his doctorate at the University of Heidelberg, where he studied under neurologist Wilhelm Heinrich Erb. In 1898 he was named head of the city infirmary in Frankfurt, then in 1914 was named director of the neurological clinic at the University of Frankfurt am Main.In 1893 he was named first secretary at the Senckenbergischen Naturforschenden Gesellschaft in Frankfurt, where he later served as second director (from 1896) and first director (from 1899).He is best remembered for his research on the cognitive function regarding music; in 1888/90 he put forth a detailed diagrammatic model of music processing, and postulated the existence of nine disorders of music production and perception. He is credited with coining the term "amusia" — being defined as the inability to recognize musical tones or being unable to reproduce them.

Ferdinand Jacob Lindheimer (May 21, 1801 – December 2, 1879) was a German Texan botanist who spent his working life on the American frontier. In 1936, Recorded Texas Historic Landmark number 1590 was placed on Lindheimer's grave.
