Jewish emigrants from Nazi Germany to the Netherlands

Erich Salomon (28 April 1886 – 7 July 1944) was a German Jewish news photographer known for his pictures in the diplomatic and legal professions and the innovative methods he used to acquire them.

Ilse Blumenthal-Weiss (14 October 1899 – 10 August 1987) was a German poet. A survivor of Westerbork and Theresienstadt concentration camps, she wrote largely about the Holocaust.

Gabriel Levy (26 May 1881 – 26 March 1965) was a German film producer who was associated with the company Aafa-Film during the 1920s and 1930s. Following the Nazi takeover of power in 1933 the Jewish Levy lost control of the company and was forced into exile in the Netherlands.

Walter Süskind (29 October 1906 – 28 February 1945) was a German Jew who helped about 600 Jewish children escape the Holocaust. He was a member of the Jewish Council of Amsterdam (Joodsche Raad or Judenrat) during the Second World War.

Ludwig Otto Blumenthal (20 July 1876 – 12 November 1944) was a German mathematician and professor at RWTH Aachen University.
