Herman Paul Pressler III (born June 4, 1930), is an American judge who was a justice of the Texas 14th Circuit Court of Appeals in his native Houston, Texas. Pressler was a key figure in the conservative resurgence of the Southern Baptist Convention, which he initiated in 1978. He has been accused of sexual misconduct or assault by at least six men, some of whom were underage at the time of the alleged activity.

Fontaine Maury Maverick Jr. (January 3, 1921 – January 28, 2003) was an American lawyer, politician, activist, and columnist from the U.S. state of Texas. A member of the prominent Maverick family, he was the great-grandson of Samuel Maverick, the rancher who signed the Texas Declaration of Independence and famously refused to brand his cattle, and the son of Maury Maverick Sr., a two-term member of the United States House of Representatives.

Glenn_Kothmann

Glenn H. Kothmann (born c. 1928) was a San Antonio, Texas politician. He represented Bexar County as a Democrat in the Texas House of Representatives and Texas Senate for 26 years between 1957 and 1987. Kothmann is a 1950 graduate from Texas A&M University, where he was a varsity athlete.
