Karl/Carl Wendling ([ventling]) (10 August 1875, Strasbourg – 27 March 1962, Stuttgart) was a German violinist and musical educator.
He studied in his hometown with Heinrich Schuster and Florián Zajíc, and later in Berlin with Carl Halir and Joseph Joachim. From 1902 on he was concertmaster at the Bayreuth Festival. In 1907 and 1908, he was concertmaster with the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Karl Muck. He had his own string quartet, "The Wendling Quartet". From 1909 on, he was a teacher at the Royal Stuttgart Conservatory, where he became director in 1929.

Otto Froitzheim (German pronunciation: [ɔto fʀøːtshaɪ̯m]; 24 April 1884 – 27 October 1962) was a German tennis player. He won the singles and doubles titles at the World Hard Court Championships in 1912. He also won an Olympic Silver medal in singles in 1908 and was a finalist at Wimbledon in 1914.

Francisca Romana Marqués López (9 March 1888 – 26 July 1962), better known as Raquel Meller, was a Spanish diseuse, cuplé, and tonadilla singer and actress.She was an international star in the 1920s and 1930s, appearing in several films and touring Europe and the Americas. A vaudeville performer, she sang the original versions of well known songs such as "La Violetera" and "El relicario", both written by José Padilla Sánchez.

Egisto Olivieri (1880–1962) was an Italian stage and film actor. He appeared in more than forty films during his career including The Little School Mistress (1934). His final film appearance was in Vittorio De Sica's Miracle in Milan (1951)

Jorge González von Marées (4 April 1900 – 14 March 1962), also known as El Jefe (Spanish: The chief, analogous to the Führer) was a Chilean political figure and author who served two terms as a member of the Chamber of Deputies and as mayor of Ñuñoa.
Born in Santiago to Sofía von Marées Sommer, a German noble mother and niece of Hans von Marées, and Marcial González Azócar, physician and founder of Clínica Alemana. He studied in Instituto Nacional General José Miguel Carrera, an elite public school back then, later studying Law and Engineering, the latter incomplete, in Universidad de Chile, Chile's most prestigious public university. He was ideologically influenced by Oswald Spengler. On 5 April 1932 he founded the National Socialist Movement of Chile to oppose democratism, americanism, and communism.
González von Marées organized a failed coup d'état attempt on 5 September 1938, in which 60 young nacista members were shot to death by carabineros, in what became known as the Seguro Obrero massacre. He was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment, but subsequently pardoned by president Pedro Aguirre Cerda. After this, he became leader of the far-right Popular Socialist Vanguard until 1943, when the Chilean Nazi movement disbanded due to the country cutting off all relations with Germany in World War II.

Unn Goggi "Lill" Egede-Nissen (November 20, 1909 – January 20, 1962) was a Norwegian actress. She was married to the actor Hans Stormoen from 1943 to 1950, and she was the mother of the musician and philologist Hans Marius Stormoen. Egede-Nissen debuted at the National Theater in Bergen in 1932. She was engaged there until 1943, and she later performed at the Bjørnevik Theater and Trøndelag Theater.Egede-Nissen made her debut in the comedy Patsy. Her later roles included Gretchen in Faust, Mrs. Elvsted in Hedda Gabler, Kathinka Stordal in the play Kranes konditori, and Tale in Medmenneske. She played the title role in Anne Pedersdotter on NRK's radio theater.
Lill Egede-Nissen was the daughter of the Communist Party of Norway leader Adam Egede-Nissen and Goggi Egede-Nissen. She was the sister of the actors and actresses Aud Egede-Nissen, Gerd Grieg, Ada Kramm, Oscar Egede-Nissen, Stig Egede-Nissen, and Gøril Havrevold.

Franco Coop (27 September 1891 – 27 March 1962), was an Italian film actor. He appeared in 65 films between 1931 and 1960. He was born in Naples, Italy and died in Rome, Italy.
