Peder Lunde Jr. (born 9 February 1942) is a retired Norwegian sailor who competed in the 1960, 1968, 1972 and 1976 Olympics. In 1960, he won a gold medal in the Flying Dutchman class, together with Bjørn Bergvall. Eight years later, he earned a silver medal in the Star class, together with Per Olav Wiken. He placed sixth in the same event in 1972, and 16th in 1976 in the three-person keelboat. In 1981-82, he was a crewmember on the yacht Berge Viking in the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race. Lunde comes from a sailing family: his parents Peder and Vibeke Lunde together with uncle Børre Falkum-Hansen won a silver medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics, and his grandfather Eugen Lunde became an Olympic champion in 1924. His wife Aud is an Olympic alpine skier, and their daughter Jeanette competed at Olympics both in alpine skiing and sailing.He resides at Snarøya.

Lisbeth Korsmo (14 January 1948 – 22 January 2017) was a Norwegian speed skater, cyclist, and Olympic medalist. She received a bronze medal at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck. She also won the Norwegian National Road Race Championship in 1981. She died on 22 January 2017 at the age of 69.

Paul Oskar Kristeller (May 22, 1905 in Berlin – June 7, 1999 in New York, United States) was a scholar of Renaissance humanism. He was awarded the Haskins Medal in 1992. He was last active as Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at Columbia University in New York, where he mentored both Irving Louis Horowitz and A. James Gregor.

Edwin Frank "Win" Young (September 29, 1947 – June 22, 2006) was an American diver. He represented the United States at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, where he won a bronze medal in 10 m platform.Young was a six-time All-American diver for Indiana University and won the gold medal in 10 m platform at the 1967 Pan American Games. In retirement he coached diving at the University of Arizona.Young died in 2006, aged 58. He was survived by his daughter, Heather Marie Burgoyne.

Katharine Ferriday Pantzer was an American bibliographer, known for her revision of the bibliographical tool known as the STC (A Short-Title Catalogue of Books Printed in England, Scotland and Ireland, and of English Books Printed Abroad 1475–1640).
Pantzer was born in Indianapolis in 1930. She attended Tudor Hall School for Girls, Vassar College, and Harvard University, where she received her Ph.D. In 1964, while at Harvard, she took over the project to revise the 1926 STC, published in two volumes in 1976 and 1986, followed by the 1991 volume of indexes for which she won the Besterman Medal for an outstanding bibliography. In the words of an obituarist, 'her knowledge of the London book trade was, in many respects, verging on encyclopaedic.'In 1988, she was awarded the Gold Medal of the Bibliographical Society, and a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1991. In 1993, she was elected a Corresponding Fellow of the British Academy. The Bibliographical Society of America made her an Honorary Member in 1998.Pantzer died in 2005.

Sergeant Major Huelet Leo "Joe" Benner (November 1, 1917 – December 12, 1999) was an American multi-discipline pistol shooter during what many consider the golden era of international and national competition (post-World War II through the mid-1960s). He was a member of three U.S. Olympic teams (1948, 1952, and 1956).

Betsy Shaw (born December 20, 1965) is an American snowboarder who competed in the 1998 Nagano Olympics.

Violeta Delgado (born 17 October 1996 in Lima, Peru) is a Peruvian volleyball player who plays as libero for the Peru national team. Violeta was part of the team that won gold at the 2012 Youth South American Championship, the first gold medal for Peruvian volleyball in that category after 32 years and the first gold in any category in 19 years.
