Damon Gus Tassos (December 5, 1923 – February 28, 2001) was a guard in the National Football League. He was drafted in the third round of the 1945 NFL Draft by The Yanks and played with the Detroit Lions that season. After another season with the Lions he went on to play three more with the Green Bay Packers.

Ernest Woodrow Pannell (February 2, 1917 – September 24, 1998) was a player in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the sixteenth round of the 1941 NFL Draft and played three seasons with the team.

Glenn Edward Lippman (born December 1, 1929) is a former Canadian football player who played for the Edmonton Eskimos. He won the Grey Cup with the Eskimos in 1954. Lippman was born in Texas and attended Texas A&M University.Inducted to the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in 2007 as a member of the 1954-1956 Edmonton Eskimos Football Teams.

He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 1951 NFL Draft. He played college football at Texas A&M University and attended Mirabeau B. Lamar Senior High School in Houston, Texas.

Stanley Ernest Hollmig (January 2, 1926 – December 4, 1981) was an American professional baseball player and scout. Born in Fredericksburg, Texas, he was an outfielder who played in 94 games over all or parts of three seasons (1949–51) in Major League Baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies.Nicknamed "Hondo", Hollmig was listed as 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m) tall and 190 pounds (86 kg); he threw and batted right-handed. He signed with the Phillies after attending Texas A&M University, where he was an All-Conference football player.
