Paul Otto Gustav Schmidt (23 June 1899 – 21 April 1970) was an interpreter in the German foreign ministry from 1923 to 1945. During his career, he served as the translator for Neville Chamberlain's negotiations with Adolf Hitler over the Munich Agreement, the British Declaration of War and the surrender of France.
Theodor Habicht (4 April 1898 – 31 January 1944) was a leading political figure in Nazi Germany. He played a leading role in the Austrian Nazi Party. During World War II, he was involved in the administration of Nazi-occupied Norway until his dismissal by Adolf Hitler. He later served in the Wehrmacht and was killed in action on the Eastern Front at Nevel in 1944.
Hans Clemens (27 July 1890 – 25 August 1958) was a German tenor who had an international career in opera and concert from the 1910s through the 1930s. He performed with several major opera houses, including the Städtische Oper in Berlin and the Metropolitan Opera. He is particularly remembered for his performances and recordings of Wagner's David in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and Mime in Der Ring des Nibelungen. After retiring from the stage, he worked as a voice teacher in Los Angeles.
Heinrich Carl Franz Emil Timerding (23 January 1873 in Strasbourg – 30 April 1945 in Braunschweig) was a German mathematician, professor at the Braunschweig University of Technology, mainly known for his contributions to probability theory.
He was awarded the Brunswick and the Prussian War Merit Cross, the Ritterkreuz (Knight's Cross) of the Order of Henry the Lion, and in 1938 the Nazi Civil Service Faithful Service Medal.In 1900 he attended Columbia University in New York City the American Mathematical Society's summer meeting, where he read a paper.
