Knut_Kloster

Knut Utstein Kloster (2 April 1929 – 20 September 2020) was a Norwegian shipping magnate.
His grandfather Lauritz Kloster founded Kloster Rederi in 1924. In 1959 Kloster joined the family business and transformed it into a leading cruise line.
Together with Ted Arison he founded Norwegian Caribbean Line in 1966.

Alf_Cranner

Alf Cranner (25 October 1936 – 3 March 2020) was a major Norwegian folk singer, lyricist and painter, considered by many to be the pioneer of the Norwegian folk music wave of the 1960s. The citation for the award of Evert Taube Memorial Fund Grant 1994, to Cranner states: «Det är motiverat att anse honom som sin tids fader för den norska viskonsten» (It is motivated by the regard of him as the father of the Norwegian folk music genre). He is known for several popular folk music interpretations and beautiful folk tunes, including these: Å, den som var en løvetann with lyrics by another great Norwegian folk singer and lyricist Alf Prøysen (1914–1970), Bare skrap and Den skamløse gamle damen with lyrics by Klaus Hagerup and Sjømannsvise with the text of Harald Sverdrup. Among Cranner folk songs with his own lyrics is Båt til lyst and Hambo i fellesferien two of the best known. The folk song Din tanke er fri, is Cranner translation of the German Die Gedanken sind frei.

Sven_Ivar_Dysthe

Sven Ivar Dysthe (25 August 1931 – 1 March 2020) was a Norwegian furniture designer born in Oslo, Norway. Among his designs is the armchair 1001 from 1960, and the chair Laminette from 1964. He was awarded Norsk Form's Jakob Award in 1986.

Knut_Bohwim

Knut Bohwim (12 March 1931 – 16 June 2020) was a leading Norwegian film director. He co-founded the company Teamfilm A/S in 1962. His debut as film director was Operasjon Sjøsprøyt from 1964. He directed the war drama Det største spillet from 1967, about the double agent Gunvald Tomstad. He directed twelve films of the Olsenbanden series, the largest commercial success in Norwegian film history. Bohwim was awarded the Amanda Honorary Award in 1997, shared with Aud Schønemann.

Manuel_Valdés

Fernando Manuel Alonso Gómez de Valdés y Castillo, popularly known as "El Loco" Valdés, (21 January 1931 – 28 August 2020) was a Mexican actor and comedian. A member of the Valdés family, he was the brother of Ramón Valdés, who portrayed Don Ramón on the sitcom El Chavo del Ocho, and Germán Valdés (a.k.a. "Tin Tan"). He was also the father of singers Cristian Castro and Marcos Valdés.
