Jerry Ray Lucas (born March 30, 1940) is an American former basketball player. He was a nationally awarded high school player, national college star at Ohio State, and 1960 gold medal Olympian and international player before later starring as a professional player in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
As a collegian, Lucas led the Ohio State Buckeyes to three straight NCAA finals (1960–1962), winning the national championship in 1960, and finishing as runner-up in 1961 and 1962. He is the only three-time Big Ten Basketball Player of the Year and was named the NCAA Player of the Year in 1961 and 1962 by the United States Basketball Writers Association (now Oscar Robertson Award), the Associated Press, and the Sporting News.As a professional, Lucas was named All-NBA First Team three times, All-NBA Second Team twice, an NBA All-Star seven times (including six years in a row), was the 1964 NBA Rookie of the Year, and was named Most Valuable Player of the 1965 NBA All-Star Game among other honors and awards. He was inducted to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1980.

Robert Bruce Mathias (November 17, 1930 – September 2, 2006) was an American decathlete, politician, and actor. Representing the United States, he won two Olympic gold medals in the Decathlon, at the 1948 and the 1952 Summer Games. As a Republican, he served in the US House of Representatives for California's 18th congressional district, for four terms from 1967 to 1975.

Hans Mathiesen Lunding (25 February 1899 – 5 April 1984) was a Danish officer, eventing rider, resistance fighter and director of military intelligence in Denmark.

Maria Carolina Gomes Santiago (born 2 August 1985), also known as Carol Santiago, is a Brazilian Paralympic swimmer who competes in international level events. She competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics and won five medals, including three gold medals.

Vaadjuv Dag Nyqvist (October 5, 1902 – 9 May 1961) was a Norwegian sailor who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics.
In 1936 he won the silver medal as crew member of the Norwegian boat Lully II in the 6 metre class event.

Rick Marlow Bockelie (28 May 1902 in Oslo – 18 February 1966 in Oslo) was a Norwegian sailor who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics. In 1924 he won the gold medal as crew member of the Norwegian boat Bera in the 8 metre class event.

Karsten Magnus Konow (16 February 1918 – 10 July 1945 in Stavanger) was a Norwegian sailor who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics.
In 1936 he won the silver medal as crew member of the Norwegian boat Lully II in the 6 metre class event. His father Magnus Konow was captain.

Kai Arne Engelstad (born 21 December 1954, in Oslo) is a former speed skater from Norway.
Engelstad specialised on the sprint, with his strongest distance being the 1,000 m. He had his best year in 1984 when he became Norwegian Sprint Champion for the third time, won bronze on the 1,000 m at the Winter Olympics of Sarajevo, and won another bronze medal when he finished third at the World Sprint Championships in Trondheim. Engelstad represented the club Aktiv SK.

Fredrik Meyer (13 February 1916 – 16 January 1989) was a Norwegian sailor who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics, and an officer in the Royal Norwegian Air Force.
In 1936 he won the silver medal as crew member of the Norwegian boat Lully II in the 6 metre class event.
During World War II he escaped to Little Norway in Canada, where he received flight training. He served for the rest of the war as a pilot with the Norwegian 330 Squadron.
After the war, he served as aide-de-camp to King Haakon VII from 1952 to 1954. From 1955 onwards he was a secretary in the Order of St. Olav and from 1971 to 1978 head of the order's secretariat.
Meyer is the author of Hærens og Marinens flyvåpen 1912-1945, published in 1973, and he covered sailing for Aftenposten for many years.
