Gunther Gerzso (June 17, 1915 – April 21, 2000) was a Mexican painter, designer and director and screenwriter for film and theatre.

Carlos Graef Fernández (February 25, 1911 – January 13, 1988) was a Mexican physicist and mathematician. A graduate of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), he was a founding member of the Mexican Mathematical Society and the Mexican Physical Society. He helped to establish the Tonantzintla Observatory and he later directed it. He received the National Prize for Arts and Sciences in 1970.

Gloria Schoemann (1910–2006) was a Mexican film editor. Schoemann was very prolific, working on more than two hundred films during her career.

Julio Scherer García (7 April 1926 – 7 January 2015) was a Mexican author and journalist. He was the editor of the daily newspaper Excélsior from 1968 to 1976. He also was the founder of the newsmagazine Proceso.Scherer died of septic shock at the age of 88. The news of his death was reported on the website of Proceso.Among other offspring is his son Julio Scherer Ibarra who is an attorney, writer and politician currently serving since 2018 as a juridical counselor to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.es

Susana Palazuelos Rosenzweig (born c. 1935), is a Mexican well-known chef and wedding organizer. She is also a book writer, having written cook books such as "Mexico the Beautiful: Authentic Recipes from the Regions of Mexico" and "Mexican Favorites".
In 1977, Palazuelos opened a restaurant in her native Acapulco, named "Banquetes Susana Palazuelos". She is the owner and general director of the restaurant.During her career, Palazuelos, considered by some to be the creator of outdoor weddings in Mexico, has cooked for royalty, including the king of Malaysia and Queen Elizabeth II.Susana has a son, Eduardo Palazuelos, a chef from Mexico and the owner of the restaurants Zibu (Acapulco) and Mar del Zur (Monterrey).She is the aunt of famous actor Roberto Palazuelos, who considers her to be his real mother, as she raised him.

Emily Cranz (born 21 September 1942) is an American-born Mexican actress, singer, and dancer.

Carolina Amor de Fournier (1908–1993) was a Mexican editor, writer and translator. She was a founder of the Mexican scientific publishing company, La Prensa Médica Mexicana, and for many years, served as its director and editor. She was also co-founder in 1965 of Siglo XXI Editores. In 1980, she received the Merito Editorial. Born in Mexico City, her parents were Carolina Schmidtlein y García Teruel (of German and Spanish origin) and Emmanuel Amor Subervielle (of Spanish and French origin). Amor had six siblings. Her sister, Guadalupe Amor, was a poet, her sister, Inés Amor an important Mexican galerist and her niece, Elena Poniatowska Amor, was a writer. Amor died in Mexico City.

Ariadne Welter (June 29, 1930 – December 13, 1998) was a Mexican movie actress of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. She appeared in the Luis Buñuel film The Criminal Life of Archibaldo de la Cruz (1955). In 1956 she starred in the film El Vampiro, a classic among Mexican horror films.

Laura Elizondo Erhard (born 28 August 1983 in Tampico) is a Mexican beauty pageant titleholder who represented her country at Miss Universe 2005.
