Riccardo Del Turco (born September 7, 1939) is an Italian singer and songwriter, born in Fiesole. His song Luglio topped the Italian Hit Parade Singles Chart for two weeks in July 1968, selling over 500,000 copies. Luglio's tune was marketed across Europe and was released in the UK as I'm Gonna Try by The Tremeloes, but the song had a lukewarm response. The tune was then offered to the Herman's Hermits, who used it for their song, "Something's Happening". The song reached the sixth spot on the UK chart. Other international versions of Luglio include Joe Dassin's Le petit pain au chocolat, in French, and Huhta Bengt's (aka Kristian) Ai ai ai, in Finnish. More recently, Del Turco wrote the song "Vivo" that Andrea Bocelli recorded in 2018.

Maurice de Germiny (born 23 November 1939) has been the bishop of Blois from 1997 to 2014. He hails from a French aristocratic family. One of his ancestors was a French ambassador to the Sublime Porte in the sixteenth century.
He qualified as an archivist at the Ecole des Chartes in Paris, and became responsible for the departmental archives of the Jura. He subsequently trained for the ministry and became curate of Saint-Séverin, a Left Bank parish of Paris. He was later named vicar general of Paris.

Henri Marie Raoul Brincard (18 November 1939 – 14 November 2014) was a French Roman Catholic bishop.
Ordained to the priesthood on 23 August 1975, Brincard was named bishop of the Le Puy-en-Velay on 8 August 1988 and was ordained bishop on 2 October 1988.

In addition to his position as director of Southwest studies at Scottsdale Community College, he is a popular speaker and True West Magazine's question-and-answer man.

Donald Lee Stewart (October 25, 1939 – January 24, 2024) was an American Pentecostal minister and purported faith healer. He was a televangelist who hosted Power and Mercy on Black Entertainment Television, The Word Network, and other television channels. He was the successor to the late A. A. Allen's organization.

Gordon Chilton Smith (born April 9, 1939) is a former American football player and coach. He played professionally as a tight end in the National Football League (NFL) with the Minnesota Vikings for five seasons, from 1961 to 1965. Smith played college football at Arizona State University and the University of Missouri under head coach Dan Devine.
After retiring from playing, Smith became an assistant football coach at the University of Arkansas in 1966. In December 1967, he was hired as an assistant football coach at Iowa State University under new head coach, Johnny Majors with whom Smith worked as an assistant at Arkansas. Smith served as offensive coordinator at Iowa State before resigning after the 1970 season to take a job with the federal government.
