Terje Brofos (2 May 1940 – 24 April 2018), better known by stage name Hariton Pushwagner, was a Norwegian Pop artist.

Reidar Aulie (13 March 1904 – 23 November 1977) was a Norwegian artist.

Agnes Hiorth (5 May 1899 – 30 November 1984) was a Norwegian painter. Her art was characterized by impressionistic broad brush and harmoniously palette of landscapes, as well as a wide range of cultivated and accurate portraits.

Frans Widerberg (8 April 1934 – 7 April 2017) was a Norwegian painter and graphic artist.
Widerberg was born in Oslo to Nicolai Magnus Widerberg and Ingrid Christine Blom. He made his exhibition debut in Oslo in 1963. Among his works is the woodcut Hieronymus from 1962 and De usynlige from 1979, both at the National Gallery of Norway. He was an exhibitor at the Bergen International Festival, and represented Norway at the Venice Biennale.Widerberg died at his home on 7 April 2017 after a short illness, one day before his 83rd birthday.

Knut Steen (19 November 1924 – 22 September 2011) was a Norwegian sculptor. Steen lived in Sandefjord for most of his life and dedicated works such as the Whaler's Monument to the city. Many of his sculptures may also be seen at Midtåsen Sculpture Park, a park dedicated to Steen at the former villa of Anders Jahre in Sandefjord.

Alf Cranner (25 October 1936 – 3 March 2020) was a major Norwegian folk singer, lyricist and painter, considered by many to be the pioneer of the Norwegian folk music wave of the 1960s. The citation for the award of Evert Taube Memorial Fund Grant 1994, to Cranner states: «Det är motiverat att anse honom som sin tids fader för den norska viskonsten» (It is motivated by the regard of him as the father of the Norwegian folk music genre). He is known for several popular folk music interpretations and beautiful folk tunes, including these: Å, den som var en løvetann with lyrics by another great Norwegian folk singer and lyricist Alf Prøysen (1914–1970), Bare skrap and Den skamløse gamle damen with lyrics by Klaus Hagerup and Sjømannsvise with the text of Harald Sverdrup. Among Cranner folk songs with his own lyrics is Båt til lyst and Hambo i fellesferien two of the best known. The folk song Din tanke er fri, is Cranner translation of the German Die Gedanken sind frei.

Finn Christensen (26 February 1920 – 28 February 2009) was a Norwegian painter and graphic artist.
He was born in Kristiania and attended the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts from 1945 to 1947. He had several substantial decorating assignments, among others at hospitals (Rikshospitalet 1964, Ullevål and Aker 1969), churches (Lambertseter 1967, Åssiden 1968) and NRK. The National Gallery of Norway owns the relief Relieff (1971–72) and nine drawings; works were also bought by Riksgalleriet, Gothenburg Museum of Art, Nationalmuseum, Statens Museum for Kunst and the Museum of Modern Art. He was a member of the Arts Council Norway from 1985 to 1988.

Erik Magnus Alfsen (13 May 1930 – 20 November 2019) was a Norwegian mathematician. He is the author of Compact Convex Sets and Boundary Integrals, published in 1971. He was a board member of the Norwegian Research Council for Science and the Humanities (NAVF) for two years, and has also been involved in Nei til Atomvåpen and the Pugwash Conferences. He was a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters and the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters.

Nicolai Marius "Nic" Schiøll (10 October 1901 – 29 December 1984) was a Norwegian sculptor and painter. He was most known for his public works, ornamental sculptures and memorials.

Ulf Aas (14 September 1919 – 16 December 2011) was a Norwegian illustrator. He worked for the newspaper Aftenposten from 1948 (full-time from 1977). He has contributed with illustrations to more than 200 books. He was decorated Knight, First Class of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav in 1999.
