Tore Bernitz Pedersen (26 January 1935 - 17 April 2015) was a Norwegian illustrator and comics artist. He was born in Oslo and was educated at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry and the Regent Street Polytechnic Art School in London. He created the comics strip Doktor Fantastisk, in cooperation with Axel Jensen, Roar Høiby and Terje Brofos, which was published in the newspaper Dagbladet, and he has been illustrator for the newspapers Aftenposten and Fredriksstad Blad. Among his book illustrations are Alf Prøysen's songbook Fra Hompetitten til bakvendtland, historical books by Georg Apenes, and Olav Angell's books about the city of Oslo.

Sven Sønsteby (20 May 1933 – 5 May 2014) was a Norwegian illustrator. He was born in Oslo. He was assigned as illustrator for the newspaper Aftenposten from the 1950s, and for the newspaper's weekly supplement A-magasinet from 1963. From 1956 he also delivered works to the London-based satirical magazine Punch.He died in Kristiansand on 5 May 2014.

Unni-Lise Jonsmoen (born 21 April 1936) is a Norwegian illustrator and children's writer.
She was born in Oslo to Margit Schulze and Rolf Martin Hansen. She is married to children's writer Ola Jonsmoen, and the couple settled in Alvdal.Jonsmoen is educated at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry. Her children's book illustrations include Det hendte i Taremareby (1960, text by Ingebrigt Davik), Singeling for rare ting (1961, text by Ola Jonsmoen), and Humle Brumle (1962, text by Ola Jonsmoen). She was awarded the Ministry of Culture's Illustration Prize in 1960, 1961, 1965 and 1966. In addition to children's books, she has also illustrated poetry collections and textbooks. Her own books include Svarttrosten som forsov seg (1979), Lars og Ola på tytingtur (1980), and Kjenner du fru Frodig? (1982).She was awarded Hedmark County Municipality's Cultural Prize in 1989, jointly with her husband Ola Jonsmoen.

Runa Førde (24 February 1933 – 28 July 2017) was a Norwegian painter, illustrator and graphic artist.
She was born in Oslo to Inger Else Johanne Steenberg and Sverre Førde. She studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry and at the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts. She has illustrated several children's books and readers for elementary school. She is represented at the National Gallery of Norway, Riksgalleriet, the National Gallery of Denmark, and in galleries in Beijing and the Faroe Islands.

Terje Bergstad (14 October 1938 – 7 February 2014) was a Norwegian painter and printmaker.

Haakon Bjørklid (30 May 1925 – 27 January 2020) was a Norwegian illustrator, painter, animator and printmaker.

Nina Malterud (born 1951) is a Norwegian ceramist. A graduate of the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry, since 1975 she has created a variety of practical and artistic artefacts, both large and small, working mainly with blue clay. Applying her art to tiles, she has decorated public buildings including the University of Tromsø and the Courthouse in Sandvika. Malterud was head of ceramics at the Bergen Academy of Art and Design from 1994, serving as rector from 2002 to 2010. In 2022, she not only received the Ulrik Hendriksen Honorary Award but was honoured with the St. Olav's Medal.

Morten M. Kristiansen (born 30 May 1948) is a Norwegian illustrator, known by his signature Morten M. He was born in Oslo.
In the 1970s he delivered political cartoons to the newspapers Nationen, Dag og Tid and Ny Tid. He also contributed to the humour magazine KOnK. From 1979 to 2011 he worked as illustrator for the newspaper Verdens Gang. Among his books are Om badecar og andre... from 1979, Tjaså..? from 1982, Tjasså! from 1987, and Ute alene from 2003. He is represented at the National Gallery of Norway, Riksgalleriet and other art galleries.

Finn Hald (8 July 1929 – 17 October 2010) was a Norwegian ceramist, sculptor, illustrator, poet and playwright. He was married to Dagny Revold. Among his books are Revestreker from 1970 and the short story collection Fuglesirkuset from 1978. He published Mellom to stoler from 1980, Sidespor from 1986 and Oppsving from 1996, all in collaboration with his wife Dagny Hald and designer Roar Høyland.

Jørgen Dobloug (23 April 1945 – 16 January 2018) was a Norwegian artist based in Düsseldorf and Oslo.He studied at the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule Basel, Switzerland (1969) in the class of Armin Hofmann and Staatliche Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Germany (1971 – 84), in the classes of Professor Joseph Beuys, Daniel Hees and Franz Eggenschwiler. Dobloug is an important Norwegian artist, who left Norway and what be believed to be a rigid educational system for performing arts, to find his own way. Dobloug’s works have been shown in a large number of exhibitions, in Norway and abroad.His works are mainly acrylic paintings displaying either abstract motifs or heads/faces. They are humorous, partly with contradictory elements in respect of both motif, composition and colours. The works span from strict geometric paintings including grid-patterns, to playful paintings executed with a rough, almost expressive, brush. There is furthermore conceptual side to Dobloug’s project.
His works are part of international art collections as Nasjonalmuseet, Museum Kunstpalast, Henie-Onstad Kunstsenter, Lillehammer Kunstmuseum, Svensk Konstfond, Tangen-Samlingen, Telenor Art Collection, Storebrand Art Collection, Christian Bjellands kunstsamling or the art collection of NSB.Dobloug was granted the Norwegian Government Grant for Artists from 1995.
