Pål Atle Skjervengen (born 6 October 1960) is a retired Norwegian politician.
He was born in Oslo as a son of a police inspector. He finished secondary education in 1979, and briefly studied law, then business administration at the Norwegian School of Management. From 1982 to 1984 he worked in the party newspaper Fremskritt from 1982 to 1984, returning as editor from 1987 to 1993. From 1984 to 1986 he was a political secretary.He was a member of Oslo's school board from 1979 to 1983. He was a deputy member of Oslo city council from 1979 to 1983 and an executive committee member between 1983 and 1989. From 1984 to 1987 he was the chairman of the Youth of the Progress Party, having been secretary-general from 1981 to 1982. He was then deputy chair of the Progress Party from 1987 to 1991. He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway for the Progress Party from Oslo during the term 1985–1989, and was elected in 1989.After finishing his term in 1993 he quit active politics. He remained in the Progress Party for a year, but after the 1994 Progress Party national convention he withdrew, commenting that the libertarians in the organization had been "asked by the party leadership to go to hell". Skjervengen had been criticized by Carl I. Hagen from the rostrum at the national convention. Skjervengen stated that he did not like any political party in Norway at the present, but that he liked the Danish Liberal Party. He would rather start a new party. Many years later he joined the Conservative Party.Skjervengen has also been a board member for the European Movement in Norway from 1992 to 1993 the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Norway from 1995 to 1997, Global Money Games from 1999 to 2000 and Oslo Port Authority from 2003. He has spent his professional career in Konsensus Kommunikasjon (1993–1996, 2001–2003), as CEO of VinCompagniet from 1996 to 2001 and CEO of Fondberg from 2003.

Reidar Bruu (11 September 1903 – 2 November 1989) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party.
Reidar Bruu was born in Kristiania. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oslo in 1958, and was re-elected on two occasions. He had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the term 1954–1957.
Bruu was a member of Oslo city council during the term 1951–1955.
From 1958 to 1969 he was a member of the national party board. He was a member of the council of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation from 1962 to 1972, board chairman of Televerket from 1969 to 1973 and of the Norwegian National Opera from 1969 to 1975.

Elsa Rastad Bråten (1 February 1918 – 21 December 1999) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party.
She was born in Oslo as a daughter of typographer and politician Ingvald Rastad and Sigrid Hilton.
During the first cabinet Bratteli from 1971 to 1972, Bråten was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice and the Police. She had served as political secretary (today known as political advisor) in the Ministry of Family and Consumer Affairs from 1959 to 1965.
She served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Oslo during the terms 1973–1977. From 1973 to 1976 she met as a regular representative, replacing Knut Frydenlund who was appointed to the second cabinet Bratteli. On the local level she was a member of Oslo city council from 1955 to 1963.
Bråten did not have a higher education. She worked as a journalist in Arbeiderbladet in 1945-1949 and 1950–1951, editor-in-chief of Arbeiderkvinnen from 1953 to 1959, and a consultant.

Syver Berge (born 30 July 1939, in Oslo) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party.
He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oppland in 1989, and was re-elected on one occasion. He had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the terms 1981–1985.
Berge held various positions in Vågå municipality council from 1967 to 1979 and 1999 to 2003. From 1979 to 1987 he was a member of Oppland county council.

Ingvald Godal (26 October 1934 – 28 January 2019) was a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party and later the Conservative Party. For the former party he was a State Secretary as well as mayor of Vinje; for the latter party he served four terms in the Norwegian Parliament. He was also involved in various organizations, most latterly the Norwegian Support Committee for Chechnya.

Tove Billington Bye (née Jørgensen) (28 July 1928 – 15 May 2008) was a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party.
She served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Akershus during the terms 1973–1977 and 1977–1981.On the local level, she was a member of the executive committee of Asker municipal council, having been elected in the so-called "women's coup" where four women (Tove Billington Bye, Berit Ås, Marie Borge Refsum and Kari Bjerke Anderssen) led a successful campaign to get women elected to the municipal council.She was married to legendary Norwegian TV and radio personality Erik Bye from 1953 to his death in 2004, and lived at Hvalstad.

Harald Ellefsen (born 11 December 1950) is a Norwegian jurist and politician for the Conservative Party.

Øivin Skappel Fjeldstad (born 6 February 1936) is a Norwegian banker and politician for the Conservative Party.

Rune Egil Kristiansen (born 30 October 1948) was a Norwegian typographer, trade unionist and politician for the Labour Party.
He was born in Oslo as a son of trade unionist Willard Kristiansen (1927–1972) and Kirsten, née Storøy (1926–1989). He finished vocational school in 1966, undertook a three-year apprenticeship in typography and worked as a typographer in Arbeiderbladet from 1969 to 1979 and Verdens Gang from 1979 to 1980. In 1980 he became a national board member of the Norwegian Graphical Union, and in 1984 he became leader of the Norwegian Graphical Union and Oslo Graphical Union. From 1987 he was also a supervisory council member in the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions, and from 1988 he was a board member of Oslo faglige samorg. He rescinded all positions in 1989 to become an elected politician.Kristensen was elected as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Oslo during the terms 1989–1993 and 1993–1997. However, he met as a regular representative during seven of the eight years, as a stand-in for Gro Harlem Brundtland who served as Prime Minister; later for Thorbjørn Berntsen who took part in Jagland's Cabinet. In the 1997 Norwegian parliamentary election Kristiansen was finally elected as a full member, and served through 2001.

Marianne Borgen (born 2 June 1951) is a Norwegian politician for the Socialist Left Party, who served as Mayor of Oslo from 2015 to 2023.
She finished her secondary education at Sofienberg Upper Secondary School in 1975, graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.mag. degree in 1975 and the cand.sociol. degree in 1979. While studying she was a journalist in Universitas from 1976 to 1978. She worked as a consultant in the Ministry of Local Government and Labour from 1979 to 1985, for the Ombudsman for Children in Norway from 1985 to 1995, for the County Governor of Oslo and Akershus from 1995 to 1997 and then in Save the Children in Norway. Here she has been responsible for the "Norway program". She has represented Save the Children in the Forum for Children and Families in the Council of Europe.As a politician, Borgen was a member of her borough council from 1973 to 1976, and of Oslo city council from 1979 to 1983 and from 1995 to present. She served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Oslo during the terms 1989–1993, 1993–1997, 1997–2001 and 2001–2005. In total, she met during eighteen days of parliamentary session. In 2007, she was the Socialist Left Party's candidate to become Mayor of Oslo, without succeeding. She was elected mayor in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. In February 2022, she announced that she wouldn't be seeking re-election as mayor in 2023. Following the election, she was succeeded by Anne Lindboe.Borgen was a board member of Lovisenberg Hospital from 1992 to 1994 and a deputy board member of Norwegian Social Research from 1996 to 2001. She has also co-administered research projects for the Research Council of Norway. From 1994 to 1996 and since 2006 she is a board member of Aker Hospital.
