Eugenio Garza Lagüera (18 December 1923 – 24 May 2008) was a Mexican businessman and philanthropist who served as chairman of the board of the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM) and Femsa, Latin America's largest beverage corporation. In February 2008 he was laureated with the Business Social Responsibility Award from the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, a nonpartisan institution created by the U.S. Congress within the Smithsonian Institution.

Luz María Puente (20 November 1923 – 23 February 2021) was an American born Mexican pianist.Her son Jorge Federico Osorio is also a pianist. Puente died on 23 February 2021, aged 97.In 2008 the Mexico City Chamber Orchestra paid tribute to her during a concert for her career as a soloist and teacher of several generations of pianists. On 26 January 2015, the National Council for Culture and the Arts and the Academia Medalla Mozart A.C. awarded Puente the Medal in the Merit Category, along with Gallya Dubrova, Natia Stankivitch and Virgilio Valle. In September 2017 she received the Bellas Artes medal.

Comercial Mexicana is the third largest supermarket chain in Mexico as of 2009.In 2000 Gonzáles Nova was in charge of a powerboat that killed UK singer Kirsty MacColl in a restricted beach diving area on Cozumel, Mexico. MacColl was struck saving her son from the speeding boat. It was widely reported that the boathand José Cen Yam, who took the blame for the death, was paid to do so by González Nova.

Susana Palazuelos Rosenzweig (born c. 1935), is a Mexican well-known chef and wedding organizer. She is also a book writer, having written cook books such as "Mexico the Beautiful: Authentic Recipes from the Regions of Mexico" and "Mexican Favorites".
In 1977, Palazuelos opened a restaurant in her native Acapulco, named "Banquetes Susana Palazuelos". She is the owner and general director of the restaurant.During her career, Palazuelos, considered by some to be the creator of outdoor weddings in Mexico, has cooked for royalty, including the king of Malaysia and Queen Elizabeth II.Susana has a son, Eduardo Palazuelos, a chef from Mexico and the owner of the restaurants Zibu (Acapulco) and Mar del Zur (Monterrey).She is the aunt of famous actor Roberto Palazuelos, who considers her to be his real mother, as she raised him.

Mauricio Magdaleno Cardona (13 May 1906 – 30 June 1986), better known as Mauricio Magdaleno, was a Mexican screenwriter and occasional director of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. He was nominated for six Ariel Awards and won for his second nomination for Río Escondido in 1949. Magdaleno was also a well-known journalist, writer, and politician.

Juan_Francisco_Azcárate

Brigadier General Engineer Juan Francisco Azcárate Pino (December 8, 1896 – June 2, 1987) was an officer in the Mexican military, a diplomat, and a designer of military aircraft.
As chief of the department of aviation, Azcárate oversaw the manufacture of military aircraft of his own design at the National Aviation Workshops. He was later appointed military attaché to the Mexican embassy in the United States, and during World War II was minister of the Mexican embassy in Germany. His published works include Un Programa Político Internacional (1932), Esencia de la Revolución, (1966) and Trilogía Moderna Contemporánea (1978).
