Egil Offenberg (8 March 1899 – 28 July 1975) was a Norwegian businessperson and politician for the Conservative party.
He was the chief executive officer at the Schou Brewery from 1932 to 1967. He was active in the Norwegian resistance movement and became part of its leadership in 1942. He was made Minister of Supplies and Reconstruction in Einar Gerhardsen's unity government in 1945 and served as president of Federation of Norwegian Industries.
Lorin Nelson Pace (born August 15, 1925) was an American politician who was a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives and Utah State Senate. An attorney, Pace attended Emporia State University (Bachelor of Arts), Brigham Young University (Bachelor of Laws), and the University of Utah (Juris Doctor) He worked with the United States Department of State as a foreign service officer from 1954 to 1956 at San Pedro Sula, Honduras, where he also served as president of the San Pedro Sula Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the first half of 1956. From 1956-1960 Pace served as a mission president for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
During his time in the House of Representatives, Pace served as Speaker of the House in 1969 and as Minority Leader from 1971 to 1975. He was defeated in the Republican primary for the 1990 election by Delpha Baird. After his legislative career, he served on the board of directors of Canton Industrial. In the early 1990s Pace worked as a government consultant in El Salvador.
Leif Andreas Larsen (2 January 1898 – 29 April 1978) was a Norwegian telegrapher and politician for the Labour Party.
He was born in Kristiania, and moved to Bærum in 1926. He had an education as a telegrapher, and also took the cand.jur. degree in 1924. He chaired of the Labour Party chapter in Bærum from 1930 to 1935, and was elected to serve in Bærum municipal council in 1932. During the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany he was imprisoned in Bredtveit concentration camp from 30 March 1943, then in Berg concentration camp from 26 July 1944 to 26 March 1945.In May 1945, when Norway was liberated from the five-year-long German occupation, Larsen became deputy mayor of Bærum. After the 1945 Norwegian local elections he became mayor. He was the first mayor of Bærum to represent the Labour Party. He left the municipal council in 1951, but returned for the years 1956 to 1963, when he was again deputy mayor. From 1962 to 1968 he was the director of Telegrafverket, which would change its name to Televerket in 1969 and Telenor in 1995.Larsen was decorated as a Commander of the Order of St. Olav. A road in Sandvika, Leif Larsens vei, has been named after him.

Reinaldo Azambuja Silva (born May 13, 1963) is a Brazilian agriculturalist and politician, affiliated with the Brazilian Social Democracy Party, was Governor of Mato Grosso do Sul from January 1, 2015 to January 1, 2023. Azambuja replaced André Puccinelli in 2014, and was replaced by Eduardo Riedel in 2023. In elections in Mato Grosso do Sul in 2014 he ran for governor. Azambuja came in second place in the first round and won the election in the second round against the candidate Delcídio Amaral.Born in Campo Grande, son of Zulmira Azambuja Silva and Roberto de Oliveira Silva, now deceased, Reinaldo Azambuja began studying Business Administration at the Dom Bosco Catholic University, in his hometown, but dropped out in the same year, in 1982, surprised by the death of from his father and driven to take over the family's farming business. He moved to Maracaju, in the interior of the state, after turning 18, and married Fátima Silva a year after his father's death. Reinaldo has three children: Thiago, Rafael and Rodrigo.
Margaret Eide Hillestad (born 14 February 1961, in Oslo) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party and a former deputy MP.
Arve Lønnum (born 21 October 1961) is a Norwegian lawyer and politician for the Progress Party.
He was born in Oslo as a son of Arve Lønnum Sr. and editor Mimi Rustad Wold. His father was a politician and professor in neurology at the University of Oslo.He graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.jur. degree in 1995, and thereafter spent his career in the lawyer's firm Ræder, Wisløff, Aasland & Co. He was a junior solicitor from 1995, then lawyer from 1997, then partner from 2001.In politics, he was a member of Oslo city council from 1987 to 1995 and 2003 to 2007. He was leader of his party group from 1990 to 1991, and leader of the city chapter of his party from 2001 to 2002. From 1987 both he and his father were members of the city council, but his father died in 1988. Arve Lønnum Jr. was also a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway during the term 1993–1997, and met during 110 days of parliamentary session. He was a board member of the Oslo Port Authority from 1996 to 1999.
Germaine Peyroles (22 March 1902 – 26 October 1979) was a French lawyer and politician. She was elected to the National Assembly in 1945 as one of the first group of French women in parliament. She served in the National Assembly until 1951, and then again from 1954 to 1955.
José Alberto Fogaça de Medeiros (born 1947) is a Brazilian politician who has been the mayor of Porto Alegre, Brazil, a state deputy, federal deputy and senator.
He is a graduate of the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul and taught at the College of Rio Grande, before becoming a TV and print journalist.
He is a member of the PMDB, having been elected in 2004 as mayor on behalf of the Socialist People's Party. He has pledged to continue the participatory budgeting system introduced under the PT [1] and his mandate expires in 2008.
He is married to the singer Isabela Fogaça.
