Steven James Howard is an American politician from the state of Vermont. He represented parts of the city of Rutland in the Vermont House of Representatives from 1993 to 2011, except for three terms between 1999 and 2005. A Democrat, he represented the district of Rutland-5-3, and ran unsuccessfully for Lieutenant Governor of Vermont in 2010.

Justin_Chenette

Justin Chenette (born April 23, 1991) is an American politician from Maine. Chenette, a Democrat, formerly represented District 31 in the Maine Senate. Chenette made history at age 21 becoming the youngest legislator in Maine, and was one of five openly gay members of the Maine Legislature.Chenette was also youngest openly gay legislator in the United States. Owing to this, The Advocate magazine named Chenette "an architect of the next decade" and listed him among the 40 Under 40 most accomplished leaders throughout the country in 2013.

María_Elena_Moyano

María Elena Moyano Delgado (29 November 1958 – 15 February 1992) was an Afro-Peruvian community organizer and feminist who was assassinated by the Shining Path. She grew up in poverty in the Villa El Salvador pueblo joven, then became involved in local activism. She was twice president of FEPOMUVES (the Popular Federation of Women of Villa El Salvador) and at the time of her death was deputy mayor. Her funeral was attended by 300,000 people and resulted in a downturn in support for the Shining Path. She received the Peruvian Order of Merit posthumously.

Donald_H._Turner

Donald H. "Don" Turner Jr. (born July 19, 1964) is an American Republican politician who served in the Vermont House of Representatives, to which he was first elected in 2006. He represented the Chittenden-9 district until 2012 and represented the Chittenden-10 district from 2013 to 2019 for the town of Milton in Chittenden County. He also served as the Minority Leader of the Vermont House of Representatives from 2011 to 2019. Turner currently serves as the Town Manager of Milton as well as a member of the Board of Civil Authority. He is also a certified fire instructor, a member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, Milton Firefighters Association, and was the Milton Fire and Rescue Chief and Forest Fire Warden.Turner was the 2018 Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Vermont. He ran on a platform of affordability and economic growth; balance and collaboration; and supporting first responders and service-members. Turner lost to incumbent Dave Zuckerman (P/D) in the November general election.
