Jaime Andrés Bassa Mercado (born 31 March 1977) is a Chilean politician and attorney. Bassa has served as the Vice President of the Constitutional Convention of Chile since 2021. A political independent, Bassa is closely associated with the left-wing Broad Front alliance.

Kathleen "Kitty" Rehberg (née Kaesser; born October 16, 1938) is an American politician in the state of Iowa. A Republican, she served in the Iowa Senate as the representative for the 14th district from 1997 to 2003 and as the representative for the 12th district from 2003 to 2005.

Thomas_A._Renda

Thomas A. Renda (born September 19, 1937) was an American politician in the state of Iowa.
Renda was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended Drake University and Loras College and is a lawyer and judge. He served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1965 to 1971 as a Democrat.

Alexander_Tietze

Alexander Tietze (6 February 1864 – 19 March 1927) was a German surgeon born in Liebenau. Tietze syndrome is named after him.
In 1887 he received his doctorate at the University of Breslau, and from 1888 to 1895 was an assistant at the Breslau surgical clinic. During this time period he worked under Jan Mikulicz-Radecki (1850-1905). In 1894 he gained his habilitation, subsequently becoming a primary physician at the Allerheiligen-Hospital (1896). In 1914-1920 he was a member of the Breslau City Council.

Wes_Whitead

Wesley Edward Whitead (April 15, 1933 – February 22, 2024) was an American politician who was a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives from the 1st District. He represented the district from 1997 through 2011, with a two-year interruption from 2001 through 2003, when he was defeated by Republican Greg Hoversten. He did not run for re-election in 2010.During his last term in the Iowa House, Whitead served on the Environmental Protection, Local Government, Natural Resources, and Public Safety committees, as well as serving as vice-chair of the Veterans Affairs committee.
Whitead died on February 22, 2024, at the age of 90.

Jim_Van_Engelenhoven

James L. Van Engelenhoven (September 8, 1943 – September 20, 2021) was an American politician, serving as the Iowa State Representative from the 71st District. He had served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 1999, when he was elected to represent the 95th district. In addition to winning re-election in general election challenges, Van Engelenhoven had won three primary elections (1998, 2008, and 2010), though he went one year (2004) without any primary or general election opponents.
As of September 2011, Van Engelenhoven served on several committees in the Iowa House, including the Ethics, Local Government, Natural Resources, and Transportation committees. His prior political experience included serving as County Supervisor in Mahaska County from 1992-1998. He died in 2021 at the age of 78.

Cele_Hahn

Cele Ferner Hahn (March 21, 1942 – April 11, 2014) was an American broadcaster and politician who represented the 4th Hampden District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1995–2003. Born in Sioux City, Iowa, Hahn received her bachelor's degree in journalism from University of Iowa. Hahn and her husband Curt owned WNNZ radio in Springfield, Massachusetts. She also edited several newspapers.
