Rensink was born in Sioux Center, Iowa. He is a farmer and livestock feeder. He served in the Iowa State Senate from 1987 to 1999, and House of Representatives from 1983 to 1987 as a Republican.

Del_Stromer

Delwyn Dean Stromer (April 22, 1930 – September 7, 2003) was an American politician who served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1967 to 1991. He served as Speaker of the Iowa House for two years, from 1981 to 1982. Stromer was a member of the United States Army Reserve from 1951 to 1959, and served on active duty from 1953 to 1955. He died in 2003 at Mercy Medical Center in West Des Moines of cardiovascular disease complications.

Kenneth Roy De Groot (October 16, 1929 – April 22, 1993) was an American politician who sat in the Iowa House of Representatives between 1979 and 1993 as a member of the Republican Party. He held the District 1 seat until 1983, when he began representing District 8.
De Groot was born in Perkins, Iowa on October 16, 1929. He was a graduate of Hull High School, and pursued tertiary education at Iowa State University and Northwestern College. After college, De Groot became a dairy farmer for 42 years. Alongside his sons, De Groot owned and operated DG Valley-View Farms. De Groot held membership and executive positions in several agricultural collectives, companies, and associations, among them, 4-H, the Dairy Herd Improvement Association, the Land O'Lakes Northwest Iowa Dairy Division, and the Farm Bureau.De Groot served in the Iowa House of Representatives between 1979 and 1993 as a member of the Republican Party. He held the District 1 seat until 1983, when he began representing District 8. De Groot died on April 22, 1993, months after completing his seventh and final term in office.

Wayne Dresden Bennett (November 7, 1927 – September 3, 2015) was an American politician in the state of Iowa.
Bennett was born in Schaller, Iowa. He attended Iowa State University and was a farmer. Bennett served in the Iowa House from 1973 to 1993 for district 48 from 1973 to 1983 and district 4 from 1983 to 1993. Bennett was also a state senator from the 6th district from 1993 to 1997. He died on September 3, 2015.

Richard Peter Vande Hoef (May 15, 1925 – December 20, 2020) was an American politician in the state of Iowa. Vande Hoef was born in Boyden, Iowa, in May 1925. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army and worked as a farmer. He served in the 2nd District of the Iowa State Senate from 1981 to 1993, and House of Representatives from 1993 to 1999, as a Republican. Vande Hoef died in December 2020 in Sibley, Iowa, at the age of 95.

Drake was born in Muscatine, Iowa. A farmer, he attended the United States Naval Academy and Iowa State University. A Republican, he also served in the Iowa State Senate from 1977 to 2005. Previously, he served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1969 to 1977. He died in 2008 in Muscatine, Iowa.

Joseph_Kremer

Joseph M. Kremer (19 August 1921 – 30 June 2010) was an American politician.
Joseph Kremer was born in Jesup, Iowa, on 19 August 1921 to Matt Kremer and his wife, Matilda Lardy. Following his graduation from the high school in his hometown in 1939, the younger Kremer served in the United States Army during World War II, through to his discharge in December 1946. Six months after, he married Ellen Janice Harn, with whom he raised eight children. Kremer was active in several county-level civic and agricultural organizations, and retired from farming in 1986.Kremer, a Republican was first elected to the Iowa House of Representatives for Buchanan County in 1984, and served continuously until 1993, when fellow Republican Darrell Hanson represented District 27 for a single term. Kremer returned to the seat in 1995, was reelected once more, and retired at the end of his sixth term in 1999.He died on 30 June 2010 at the Buchanan County Health Center Long-Term Care Unit in Independence, Iowa.
