Cláudio_Lembo

Cláudio Salvador Lembo (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈklawdju ˈlẽbu]; born 12 October 1934 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian lawyer, politician and university professor from Neapolitan background. He was elected Vice Governor in 2002 with Governor Geraldo Alckmin. After Alckmin's resignation, to be able to run for the presidency of Brazil in the general elections of October 2006, Lembo became governor of São Paulo on 31 March 2006. His political origins are in the ARENA pro-military party of the 1970s.Lembo is professor of constitutional law and civil law at Mackenzie Presbyterian University.

Werner_Christie

Werner Hosewinckel Christie (born 26 April 1949) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was Norway's first Minister of Health from 1992 to 1995, serving in Gro Harlem Brundtland's third cabinet.Werner Christie was educated as a medical doctor (University of Oslo, 1979). He also earned degrees in sociology from the University of Oslo in 1969, philosophy from the University of Bergen in 1971, and political science from the University of Oslo in 1972. He also has more than 13 years experience as a part-time farmer.
Christie served as the first Chair of the steering group of the World Health Organization's Stop TB program (a global public-private partnership). He chaired the Biotechnology Advisory Board of Norway from 2000 to 2004.
He worked as a public health officer and hospital manager in Norway, and conducted research and published a textbook in the planning and management of primary health care. He served on a number of boards for health care providers, investors and start-ups, including the European Federation of Biotechnology and the ScanBalt biotechnology network. He spent five years as a special advisor to the Norwegian Trade Council, and served two years in that function in San Francisco (1999–2001). In 2007 he became a board member of Public Advice International Foundation. In 2008, Christie became a board member of EduMonde SA (an educational media venture) and a member of the Presidium of the United Nations' International Eco-Safety Cooperative Organization.
In 2001 he started his own full-time consulting business, World Health Connections, focusing on entrepreneurship and investment strategies in medical technology and biotechnology, as well as health care development and consulting. He was appointed in May 2004 as Science and Technology Counsellor for the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing, China, where his work is mainly focused on energy, environmental, building, medical, marine and biological sciences and technologies as well as welfare and health reform issues.

Salvador_Sánchez-Terán

Salvador Sánchez-Terán Hernández (19 April 1934 – 31 December 2022) was a Spanish politician from the Union of the Democratic Centre (UCD) who served as Minister of Labour from May to September 1980 and previously as Minister of Transport and Communications from February 1978 to May 1980.Sánchez-Terán died on 31 December 2022, at the age of 88.

Beverly Joan Nelson (née Dunn; July 2, 1929) is an American politician in the state of Iowa. Nelson was born in Clemons, Iowa. She attended the Mercy School of Nursing (Dubuque), University of Iowa (B.S.N.), and Iowa State University (M.S. and PhD). A Republican, she served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1995 to 2001 (64th district).

Larry Marek (born 1940) is a Democratic politician, representing the 89th District in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2008. From Washington County, Iowa, Marek served in the Iowa National Guard for eight years. He went to the University of Iowa on a farm operation program. Marek was a farmer and was involved with the banking business.

Marianne_Borgen

Marianne Borgen (born 2 June 1951) is a Norwegian politician for the Socialist Left Party, who served as Mayor of Oslo from 2015 to 2023.
She finished her secondary education at Sofienberg Upper Secondary School in 1975, graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.mag. degree in 1975 and the cand.sociol. degree in 1979. While studying she was a journalist in Universitas from 1976 to 1978. She worked as a consultant in the Ministry of Local Government and Labour from 1979 to 1985, for the Ombudsman for Children in Norway from 1985 to 1995, for the County Governor of Oslo and Akershus from 1995 to 1997 and then in Save the Children in Norway. Here she has been responsible for the "Norway program". She has represented Save the Children in the Forum for Children and Families in the Council of Europe.As a politician, Borgen was a member of her borough council from 1973 to 1976, and of Oslo city council from 1979 to 1983 and from 1995 to present. She served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Oslo during the terms 1989–1993, 1993–1997, 1997–2001 and 2001–2005. In total, she met during eighteen days of parliamentary session. In 2007, she was the Socialist Left Party's candidate to become Mayor of Oslo, without succeeding. She was elected mayor in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. In February 2022, she announced that she wouldn't be seeking re-election as mayor in 2023. Following the election, she was succeeded by Anne Lindboe.Borgen was a board member of Lovisenberg Hospital from 1992 to 1994 and a deputy board member of Norwegian Social Research from 1996 to 2001. She has also co-administered research projects for the Research Council of Norway. From 1994 to 1996 and since 2006 she is a board member of Aker Hospital.

Kirsti_Kolle_Grøndahl

Brit Kirsti Kolle Grøndahl (born 1 September 1943) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party, former County Governor of Buskerud. She was Minister of Education and Church Affairs from 1986 to 1988 and Minister of International Development from 1988 to 1989.
From 11 October 1993 to 30 September 2001, she was the first female President of the Storting, and she has been County Governor of Buskerud since 1999.
