Robert Fabre (21 December 1915 in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, Aveyron – 23 December 2006 in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, Aveyron) was a French politician and pharmacist.
He was a founding member of the Left Radical Movement (MRG) in 1972 and served as the leader of the MRG until 1978. In this capacity, he became known as the "third man" - the third signatory of the Common Programme of the Union of the Left with François Mitterrand (PS) and Georges Marchais (PCF). He was himself excluded from the party in 1979 when he accepted a special research mission on work offered to him by right-wing President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. He founded the Federation of Radical Democracy, but the party never achieved significant success.
He died in 2006, shortly after the death of Jean-Jacques Servan-Schreiber, his rival within the Radical-Socialist Party. Servan-Schreiber has been the leader of the right wing of the Radical Party.

Mario Zagari (14 September 1913 – 29 February 1996) was an Italian socialist politician, who served in the Italian Parliament and in the European parliament as well as in the Italian governments in various capacities.

August Zehender (28 April 1903 – 11 February 1945) was a German SS commander during the Nazi era. He led the SS Division Maria Theresia during World War II and was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves.
Zehender was posted to the SS-Verfügungstruppe in 1935 (his NSDAP party number was 4263133 and his SS service number 224219). He was given command of a motorcycle battalion in the SS Division Das Reich. At the end of June 1941, Zehender was wounded on the Eastern Front at Losza. After his recovery he was posted to the SS Cavalry Brigade. In the spring of 1944, he was given command of the SS Division Maria Theresia, with which he fought at Budapest.
He was killed in action on 11 February 1945 in Budapest.

Hector Laing, Baron Laing of Dunphail, (12 May 1923 – 21 June 2010) was a British businessman.
The son of Hector Laing Sr and Margaret Norrie Grant was educated at the Loretto School in Musselburgh and Jesus College, Cambridge. Laing served as a tank commander in the Scots Guards between 1942 and 1947, and reached the rank of a Captain. He was mentioned in dispatches and awarded the US Bronze Star during campaign in France in 1944–45.Laing followed his father, and grandfather Sir Alexander Grant, inventor of the digestive biscuit, into the McVitie & Price biscuit business and in 1947 became a director. The company merged to form United Biscuits, and Laing became managing director in 1964 and served as chairman from 1972 to 1990.From 1973 to 1991, Laing was Director of the Bank of England. He was Director of the Exxon Corporation from 1984 to 1994.
Laing married Marian Clare, daughter of John Emilius Laurie in 1950; they had three sons.
He was knighted in 1978 and was created a Conservative life peer as Baron Laing of Dunphail, of Dunphail in the County of Moray on 8 February 1991. Laing was also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
Laing also received an Honorary Doctorate from Heriot-Watt University in 1986.Lord Laing died on 21 June 2010 after a short illness.
Lady Laing died in 2020.

Lloyd Nelson Hand (born January 31, 1929) is an American lawyer and former political aide who served as Chief of Protocol of the United States in the 1960s. Prior to that, he was an assistant to then-Senate Majority Leader Lyndon B. Johnson and served as a state coordinator for his presidential campaign.
