Erica_Malunguinho

Erica Malunguinho da Silva (born 20 November 1981 in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil) is a Brazilian politician elected into the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo on 7 October 2018 after receiving around 54,400 votes. She made history by being the first transgender person to be elected to a Brazilian state legislature. Malunguinho created the urban quilombo Aparelha Luzia, a black cultural space that brings people of African descent together in solidarity, and is also a space for art, discussion, and performances surrounding the idea of blackness and black culture.
Shortly after high school, Malunguinho moved to São Paulo and began to embrace her transgender identity through her official transition. After graduating from University of São Paulo, she spent time working as an artist, activist, and educator. Malunguinho's election platform had five major features: Political Renewal, Enlargement of the Debate, the idea of the Quilombo, Fundamental Rights, and Political Challenges.

Priscila_Krause

Priscila Krause Branco (Recife, April 15, 1978) is a Brazilian journalist and politician affiliated with Cidadania. She is the current vice-governor of Pernambuco, having previously been a state deputy and city councilor of Recife. She is the daughter of Gustavo Krause, also a politician, former governor of Pernambuco and former mayor of Recife.

Jones_Osborn

Jones Osborn (October 22, 1921 – November 6, 2014) was an American politician, newspaper editor, and publisher.
Born in Bicknell, Indiana, Jones moved with his parents to Yuma, Arizona, where they bought two local daily newspapers. Jones learned the printing business and eventually became editor and publisher of the Yuma Daily Sun. He went to the University of Arizona and then served in the United States Army during World War II. In 1971, Jones served in the Arizona House of Representatives as a Democrat, and then served in the Arizona State Senate from 1973 until 1993. After he retired from the legislature, Osborn served on the Arizona Judicial Commission. He also served on the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education and was chairman of the Commission. He died in Yuma.

He also served in the California State Assembly from 1982 to 1996. He represented the city of Sacramento and surrounding areas.
