Peter_Lødrup

Peter Lødrup (29 August 1932 – 16 June 2010) was a Norwegian legal scholar and judge.
He was born in Bærum and grew up in Oslo as a son of district stipendiary magistrate Mentz Darre Lødrup (1901–1968) and writer Evi Bøgenæs Lødrup (1906–1985). He finished his secondary education at Frogner School in 1951 and graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1957. He was hired as a research assistant at the University of Oslo in the same year. In March 1958 he married Grethe Faye.He took the dr.juris degree in 1966 with the thesis Luftrett og ansvar, was a deputy judge from 1966 to 1967 and a docent at the University of Oslo from 1966 to 1967. From 1970 to his retirement in 2002 he was a professor, and he also served as dean from 1980 to 1985 and member of the Academic Collegium (the university board). His special fields were tort, family law, inheritance and aerial law, and he is notable for his textbooks. Notable books include Luftrett (1962 and a second volume in 1975), Barn og foreldre (7th edition 2006), Lærebok i erstatningsrett (6th edition 2009), Arverett (5th edition 2008) and Familieretten (6th edition 2009). He also edited Norsk lovkommentar with Knut Kaasen and Steinar Tjomsland.He was a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters from 1974 and also of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters, was secretary-general and president of the International Society of Family Law from 1975 to 1991. He held an honorary degree at Lund University since 1993.He was a judge in the probate court in Oslo, and an acting Supreme Court Justice on five occasions between 1991 and 1998. He chaired Unifor, an administrative foundation for funds and endowments concerning the University of Oslo. He was decorated as a Knight, First Class of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav, and died in June 2010.

Ingebrigt_Steen_Jensen

Ingebrigt Steen Jensen (born 9 May 1955) is a Norwegian writer, consultant, advertising man and football official.Steen Jensen is educated at the University of Oslo where he studied English, Norwegian, and political science.
He has worked in advertising since 1982. During the 1990s Steen Jensen took part in the building of JBR advertising agency, which was sold to IPG (InterPublic Group) under the name McCann-Erickson Advertising; now known as McCann Worldgroup, Norway, and Dinamo. He has worked both for and in Stabæk Fotball for a number of years. He is otherwise known for his book Ona fyr ("Ona lighthouse") from 2002, which is about leadership, leadership techniques and motivation. He is also a sought-after motivational speaker and lecturer.
Since the late 1990s he has participated in several television programs, as well as being the host for a quiz show on TV Norge.

Otto_Sverdrup_Engelschiøn

Otto Sverdrup Engelschiøn (30 October 1902 – 8 May 1982) was a Norwegian marketer, businessperson, resistance member and genealogist.
He was born in Kristiania as a son of consul-general Søren Dass Brodtkorb Sverdrup Engelschiøn (1867–1909) and Janka Hansen (1869–1935). In 1928 he married Gudrun Irgens Garmann.Engelschiøn finished his secondary education in 1922 and graduated from the Royal Frederick University with the cand.jur. degree in 1926. He was an attorney from 1927, and also director of I. Sverdrup Engelschiøn which had the rights to distribute Swedish Tomten products in Norway. In 1929 it was merged with Norsk Barnengens Tekniske Fabrik. Engelschiøn spent the rest of his career in the company, from 1929 as director of the sales and marketing department and from 1948 to 1968 as co-owner.In the 1930s he was a member of Nasjonal Samling. He left the party in the 1937 party split, continuing though in the Ragnarok group around national socialist Hans S. Jacobsen, and edited the magazine Ragnarok in 1940. In 1940, however, Norway was invaded and occupied by Nazi Germany. Engelschiøn joined the resistance movement and was the head of intelligence in Milorg's District 13, Division 3 (Asker and Bærum) from 1943 to 1945. He received the Defence Medal 1940–1945 with rosette.Engelschiøn chaired the Norwegian Genealogical Society from 1957 to 1968, and thereafter served as deputy chairman. He was also a bibliophile, chairing Bibliofilklubben twice as well as the contest jury for the Most Beautiful Book of the Year. Engelschiøn also issued a crime novel under a pseudonym.He resided in Bærum. He died in 1982 and was buried at Haslum.
