Aline Nistad (August 24, 1954 – September 23, 2017) was a Norwegian trombonist and music educator. As a female trombonist, she was considered a pioneer in her field.She was born in Oslo and grew up in Aurskog-Høland. Nistad was taught to play piano at home by her mother but the trombone became her instrument of choice at school. She studied at the Østlandets Musikkonservatorium and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. In 1979, she joined the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, where she was principal trombone. From 1986 to 1989, Nistad served as chairman for the orchestra. She was a member of the Oslo Sinfonietta, a contemporary classical music ensemble. Nistad retired from the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra in August 2016. She taught trombone and chamber music at the Norwegian Academy of Music. Nistad also held master classes and was a guest instructor in Norway and internationally, particularly in the United Kingdom.She died of cancer at the age of 63.

Hilde Heltberg (30 September 1959 – 4 September 2011) was a Norwegian singer, guitarist and songwriter, born in Oslo, Norway.

Eivind Rølles (15 March 1959 Bestum in Oslo — 18 March 2013) was a Norwegian musician (guitar) best known for his time with pop duo The Monroes. prior to this, he was a member of the bands Broadway News and PVC.

Knut Nesbø (26 April 1961 – 8 February 2013) was a Norwegian sports reporter with the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.He was also a former semi-professional footballer (soccer player) who played for Molde and Lyn in the 1980s. In 1990, he played nineteen league matches for low-level Stabæk IF.He was the guitarist of the Norwegian pop/rock band Di Derre, which also featured his brother Jo Nesbø as the lead singer.

Erik Egeland (21 July 1921 – 19 March 1996) was a Norwegian journalist and art critic.

Petter Christian Grüner Sundt (9 April 1945 – 28 November 2007) was a Norwegian shipping magnate and businessman.
Together with his cousin Morten Sig. Bergesen, in 1976 he took over the leadership of the company Bergesen d.y. after his grandfather Sigval Bergesen the Younger retired for health reasons. As a result of that, other members of the family wanted to sell their shares in the company. Ten years later Morten Bergesen and Petter Sundt took over ownership control and listed the company. They controlled the company until they sold it to the Sohmen-Pao family in 2003. Sundt received two billion kr (approximately US$368 million) for his shares in Bergesen d.y.
In 1983 he was decorated as a Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland, together with Brynjulf and Morits Skaugen and Gjert and Arne Wilhelmsen.Sundt died of cancer in November 2007.

Klaus Hagerup (5 March 1946 – 20 December 2018) was a Norwegian author, translator, screenwriter, actor and director. He was also known for his role of Tom in the film The Chieftain (1984).

Knut Bjørnsen (26 July 1932 – 14 November 2008) was a sports commentator and journalist for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.
In his youth, Bjørnsen was a promising speed skater. He was junior Norwegian champion in 1951. He worked for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation between 1961 and 1991, and was NRK's main commentator for speed skating most of those years, together with fellow NRK veteran journalist Per Jorsett. He also hosted the popular Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation game show Kvitt eller dobbelt ("Double or Nothing") for many years. In 1991, Bjørnsen left the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, and began working for cable channel TV3, where he hosted the game show Lykkehjulet (a Norwegian adaptation of Wheel of Fortune).In his later years, he spoke out as a supporter of the Progress Party, having lost his confidence in the Conservative Party.In April 2008, Bjørnsen was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, and he died from the illness seven months later, on 14 November 2008.

Pål Bang-Hansen (29 July 1937 – 25 March 2010) was a Norwegian actor, film director, screenwriter and film critic. He is particularly known as a television personality and film expert at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, leading the television film show Filmmagasinet for more than thirty years.

Ivo Caprino (17 February 1920 – 8 February 2001) was a Norwegian film director and writer, best known for his puppet films. His most noted film, Flåklypa Grand Prix (Pinchcliffe Grand Prix), was made in 1975.
