Gustav Heiberg Simonsen (4 April 1935 – 7 January 2018) was a Norwegian lawyer and politician for the Conservative Party.
He was born in Oslo as a son of barrister Jon Simonsen (1901–1976) and housewife Marie Louise Heiberg (1910–2007). He was the father of Marie Simonsen.He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Oslo during the term 1985–1989. In early October 1985 he met regularly, covering for Anders C. Sjaastad. In total he met during 6 days of parliamentary session. He was a member of Oslo city council from 1999 to 2007 and deputy chair of Oslo Conservative Party from 2004 to 2006. He died on 7 January 2018 in Oslo, at the age of 82.

Peter Fredrik Holst Hjort (23 March 1924 – 1 January 2011) was a Norwegian professor of medicine and politician for the Labour Party. He is best known for his work to establish the University of Tromsø, and for his work with public health.

Dag Schjelderup-Ebbe (10 December 1926 – 1 February 2013) was a Norwegian musicologist, composer, music critic and biographer. He was a lecturer at the University of Oslo for thirty years, from 1973 with the title of professor. His research mainly centered on the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg.

Ragna Thiis Stang (15 September 1909 – 29 March 1978) was a Norwegian historian and museum administrator.

Philip Rode Houm (20 April 1911 – 22 April 1990) was a Norwegian literary critic.

Arne Thomas Olsen (3 December 1909 – 26 June 2000) was a Norwegian actor, stage producer and theatre director. He was a driving force at Studioteatret, as both actor and producer.

Christian August Manthey Lange (28 April 1907 – 6 August 1970) was a Norwegian educator, non-fiction writer and cultural attaché.

Carsten Smith (born 13 July 1932, in Oslo) is a Norwegian judge and lawyer.
He served as Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo (1977–1979) and as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Norway (1991–2002). After his retirement from the court, he continued to handle international arbitration cases, and worked with the United Nations.He was appointed Reader in Law at the University of Oslo in 1960 and Professor of Law with a specialization in commercial and banking law in 1964. He also was the first chairman of the Sami Rights Commission.Among his many published works is Kausjonsrett. Carsten Smith was awarded the Grand Cross of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav on 13 May 2003. In 1985, he received the Fritt Ord Honorary Award. He is a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. He also received honorary degrees from several institutions, including Uppsala University and Brigham Young University.

Jens Ingebret Evensen (5 November 1917 – 15 February 2004) was a Norwegian lawyer, judge, politician (for the Labour Party), trade minister, international offshore rights expert, member of the International Law Commission and judge at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
He negotiated Norway's trading deal with European Economic Community in 1972 as minister of commerce in which he served in the governments of both Trygve Bratteli and Odvar Nordli. He then served as maritime law minister until 1979. He worked to secure government income from Norwegian oil discoveries. The UN's oceans treaty (1982) is greatly fundamental based on Evensen's work.

Vidar Leif Theisen (5 May 1933 – 30 August 2012) was a Norwegian meteorologist, known for his nasal speech and lack of tonal variation during his presentations of the weather forecast. This uncommon speech pattern made him a cult star in Norway, even after his retirement.
