Arve Lønnum (born 21 October 1961) is a Norwegian lawyer and politician for the Progress Party.
He was born in Oslo as a son of Arve Lønnum Sr. and editor Mimi Rustad Wold. His father was a politician and professor in neurology at the University of Oslo.He graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.jur. degree in 1995, and thereafter spent his career in the lawyer's firm Ræder, Wisløff, Aasland & Co. He was a junior solicitor from 1995, then lawyer from 1997, then partner from 2001.In politics, he was a member of Oslo city council from 1987 to 1995 and 2003 to 2007. He was leader of his party group from 1990 to 1991, and leader of the city chapter of his party from 2001 to 2002. From 1987 both he and his father were members of the city council, but his father died in 1988. Arve Lønnum Jr. was also a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway during the term 1993–1997, and met during 110 days of parliamentary session. He was a board member of the Oslo Port Authority from 1996 to 1999.

Ann-Magrit Austenå (born 28 June 1961) is a Norwegian journalist and organizational leader. As of 2018 she is secretary-general of NOAS, the Norwegian Organisation for Asylum Seekers.She was born in Oslo. She graduated as cand.mag. in sociology, social science and mass communication from the University of Oslo in 1985, and has been journalist for the newspapers Vårt Land and Dagbladet. She chaired the Norwegian Union of Journalists from 2003 to 2007. From 2007 to 2009 she was assistant secretary-general of the Norwegian Red Cross, and since 2010 she has been secretary-general of the Norwegian Organisation for Asylum Seekers.

Kristin Kloster Aasen (born 4 January 1961) is the former first vice president of Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports from 2015 to 2019. She was the president of the Norwegian Equestrian Federation from 2003 to 2012, and elected onto the International Olympic Committee in 2017. While with the IOC, Assen was part of commissions for the 2026 Winter Olympics, 2026 Winter Paralympics and 2032 Summer Olympics.

Bente Træen (15 October 1958 – 17 April 2023) was a Norwegian dentist and sexologist.

Andreas Arntzen (1 June 1928 – 21 May 2012) was a Norwegian barrister.
He was a son of Sven Arntzen and father of presiding judge Wenche Elizabeth Arntzen.He took the cand.jur. degree in 1952, studied at Harvard Law School and was a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo. In 1960 he became a barrister with access to work with Supreme Court cases. He was hired in the law firm founded by his father, today named Arntzen de Besche. He is best known as the defender of Arne Treholt in 1984–1985, together with Jon Lyng and Ulf Underland. From 1987 to 1989 he led the commission that delivered the Norwegian Official Report 1989: 2, scrutinizing the bankruptcy of Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk. He died in May 2012.

Ida Hjort Kraby (born 2 September 1960) is a Norwegian jurist.
The daughter of Pål Kraby, Ida Hjort Kraby graduated from the University of Oslo as cand.jur. in 1988. She had worked as a research assistant there from 1986 to 1987 and was hired as a consultant in the Ministry of Justice and the Police in 1988. From 1990 to 1993 she was a deputy judge in Lofoten, and from 1993 to 2008 she was a lawyer at the Office of the Attorney General.In 2008 she was appointed Ombudsman for Children in Norway, succeeding Reidar Hjermann. Later, it was revealed that Kraby had friendly relations with Minister of Children and Equality, Manuela Ramin-Osmundsen. Ramin-Osmundsen withdrew from her position, as did Kraby who never got the time to formally enter the post. The ombudsman post was again open, and Hjermann was this time found worthy of a second term.Kraby is the daughter of the late Pål Fredrik Kraby, who was a prominent Norwegian businessperson and lawyer.

Peter Lødrup (29 August 1932 – 16 June 2010) was a Norwegian legal scholar and judge.
He was born in Bærum and grew up in Oslo as a son of district stipendiary magistrate Mentz Darre Lødrup (1901–1968) and writer Evi Bøgenæs Lødrup (1906–1985). He finished his secondary education at Frogner School in 1951 and graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1957. He was hired as a research assistant at the University of Oslo in the same year. In March 1958 he married Grethe Faye.He took the dr.juris degree in 1966 with the thesis Luftrett og ansvar, was a deputy judge from 1966 to 1967 and a docent at the University of Oslo from 1966 to 1967. From 1970 to his retirement in 2002 he was a professor, and he also served as dean from 1980 to 1985 and member of the Academic Collegium (the university board). His special fields were tort, family law, inheritance and aerial law, and he is notable for his textbooks. Notable books include Luftrett (1962 and a second volume in 1975), Barn og foreldre (7th edition 2006), Lærebok i erstatningsrett (6th edition 2009), Arverett (5th edition 2008) and Familieretten (6th edition 2009). He also edited Norsk lovkommentar with Knut Kaasen and Steinar Tjomsland.He was a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters from 1974 and also of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters, was secretary-general and president of the International Society of Family Law from 1975 to 1991. He held an honorary degree at Lund University since 1993.He was a judge in the probate court in Oslo, and an acting Supreme Court Justice on five occasions between 1991 and 1998. He chaired Unifor, an administrative foundation for funds and endowments concerning the University of Oslo. He was decorated as a Knight, First Class of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav, and died in June 2010.

Per Christian Cornelius Paus (born 28 April 1910 in Oslo, died 15 December 1986) was a Norwegian steel industrialist and lawyer.

Marianne Heien Blystad (born February 21, 1958) is a Norwegian economist and lawyer. She has served as an attorney with Nordia DA, Bull & Co., Blysted Shipping, and Citibank and currently works for the law firm Ro Sommernes Advokatfirma DA in Oslo. In 2008, she appeared on the list of Norway's most powerful women.Born on 21 February 1958, Marianne Heien earned an MBA from the BI Norwegian Business School in 1984 and graduated as a lawyer from the University of Oslo in 2002.Blystad has also served with Songa Shipping and the investment firm Jujobly og Agmably and is affiliated with numerous other shipping, drilling and property companies. She and her husband Arne Blystad (born 1955) have been particularly successful in their investments in the container company Songa Holding, where they have earned some NOK 1.8 billion (US$ 213 million) over the past five years.

Arne Strand (17 March 1944 – 10 May 2023) was a Norwegian journalist and politician for the Labour Party. He was the political editor in the newspaper Dagsavisen until his death.
Strand graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.mag. degree in 1968. He worked as a journalist in Vårt Land from 1964 to 1966, in Arbeiderbladet from 1966 to 1976, and in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation from 1976 to 1987. Between 1987 and 1989 he was a State Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, as a part of Gro Harlem Brundtland's second cabinet.Having been political editor and news editor in his later years with the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, in 1990 he was hired as political editor in Arbeiderbladet, which in 1997 changed its name to Dagsavisen. He was acting editor-in-chief from 2004 to 2005 and from 2009. From 1999 to 2006 he chaired the Norwegian branch of the International Press Institute.Strand was the adoptive father of the television host Christian Strand.Strand died on 10 May 2023, at the age of 79. He had been ill with cancer for 17 years prior to his death.
