Thomas Mathiesen (5 October 1933 – 29 May 2021) was a Norwegian sociologist.

Vera Margrethe Henriksen (née Roscher Lund; 22 March 1927 – 23 May 2016) was a Norwegian novelist, playwright, and non-fiction writer. She was particularly known for her historical novels and plays set in the Middle Ages.

Ralph Mollatt (28 March 1926 – 5 August 1983) was a Norwegian businessperson.
He was born in Oslo, and studied in Syracuse, New York and Grenoble. He worked in the family company M. Peterson & Søn, and was CEO from 1963 to 1980. His younger brother Erik was later CEO from 1983 to 2002.For his work, Ralph Mollatt was decorated with the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav.

Jan Kristian Schøning Jansen (16 January 1931 – 8 January 2011) was a Norwegian physiologist.
He was born in Oslo as a son of professor of medicine Jan Birger Jansen (1898–1984) and Helene Sofie Schøning (1902–1976). He was married to Lisbeth Bjørneby from 1954 to 1974 and to Helen Troye from 1981.He finished his secondary education at Berg Upper Secondary School in 1949 and studied at the University of Oslo under his father and Birger Kaada. He specialized in neurophysiology. He took the cand.med. degree in 1955, and in 1957 he took the dr.med. degree with the thesis Afferent impulses to the cerebellar hemispheres from the cerebral cortex and certain subcortical nuclei. An electro-anatomical study in the cat. In 1959 he started studies at the University Laboratory of Physiology in Oxford. He won the Andres Jahre Prize for Young Researchers together with Per Andersen in 1967. He was hired as a docent at the University of Oslo in 1968, worked under Stephen Kuffler and John Nicholls at Harvard University from 1969 to 1970, and was a professor at the University of Oslo from 1979 to 1995. He was a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters from 1977, and chairman of the Nansen Fund.

Åse Gruda Skard (née Koht) (2 December 1905 – 13 August 1985) was a Norwegian university professor, child psychologist and author. She was a noted pioneer in the field of childhood development and psychology.

Rolf Yngvar Berg (2 December 1925 – 25 August 2018) was a Norwegian botanist.
He was born in Oslo. He took the dr.philos. degree 1962 on the work Studies in Liliaceae, tribe Parideae. He was a curator at the Botanical Museum of Oslo from 1956 to 1962, professor of botany at the University of California, Davis from 1962 to 1965 and at the University of Oslo from 1965 to 1994. He has been a corresponding fellow of the American Botanical Society from 2003, and a fellow of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. He died at the age of 92.

Erik Magnus Alfsen (13 May 1930 – 20 November 2019) was a Norwegian mathematician. He is the author of Compact Convex Sets and Boundary Integrals, published in 1971. He was a board member of the Norwegian Research Council for Science and the Humanities (NAVF) for two years, and has also been involved in Nei til Atomvåpen and the Pugwash Conferences. He was a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters and the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters.

Conrad Vogt-Svendsen (6 March 1914 – 1 December 1973) was a Norwegian priest. He was assistant seamen's priest in Hamburg during Second World War, helped with the White Buses operation in 1945, and was later main priest for the deaf in Norway.

Anders von Tangen Buraas (26 September 1915 – 7 May 2010) was a Norwegian journalist and author.

Peter Fredrik Holst Hjort (23 March 1924 – 1 January 2011) was a Norwegian professor of medicine and politician for the Labour Party. He is best known for his work to establish the University of Tromsø, and for his work with public health.
