Carlos Alberto Raffo Dasso (23 August 1927 – 3 July 2023) was a Peruvian diplomat and politician. A member of the Peruvian Aprista Party, he served as Ambassador of Peru to the United Kingdom from 1986 to 1989 and was Minister of Industry, Trade, Tourism, Integration, and International Trade Negotiations from 1989 to 1990.Raffo died in Lima on 3 July 2023, at the age of 95.

José Antonio Mazzotti is a Peruvian poet, scholar, and literary activist. He is Professor of Latin American Literature and King Felipe VI of Spain Professor of Spanish Culture and Civilization in the Department of Romance Studies at Tufts University, President of the International Association of Peruvianists since 1996, and Director of the Revista de Crítica Literaria Latinoamericana since 2010. He is considered an expert in Latin American colonial literature, especially in El Inca Garcilaso de la Vega and the formation of criollo cultures, a critic of Latin American contemporary poetry, and a prominent member of the Peruvian 1980s literary generation. He received the José Lezama Lima special poetry prize from Casa de las Américas, Cuba, in 2018, for his collection El zorro y la luna. Poemas reunidos, 1981-2016.
During his early years, Mazzotti won the First Prize in the 1980 "Túpac Amaru" Poetry Contest at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, with Poemas no recogidos en libro (Poems Not Collected in a Book, Lima, 1981). In 1985, he published his second collection, Fierro curvo (órbita poética) (Curved Iron (poetic orbit)), and in 1988 his third book, Castillo de popa (Poop Deck), which reflects the state of mind of a wide sector of Peruvian youth at that time in the face of the difficult years of the civil war and the galloping economic deterioration of the country. The book was a finalist in the Casa de las Américas Award in Havana that same year. He has also published the poetry collections El libro de las auroras boreales (The Book of the Northern Lights, Amherst, MA, 1995), Señora de la noche (Lady of the Night, Mexico City, 1998), El Zorro y la Luna. Antología Poética 1981-1999 (The Fox and the Moon. A bilingual version of Sakra Boccata with translations by Clayton Eshleman appeared in 2013 in Ugly Duckling Press, New York. The Fox and the Moon, a selection of his poetry in English, was published in 2018 by Axiara Editions (Oregon). Hernán Jesús Garrido Lecca Montañez (born May 18, 1960) is a Peruvian economist, writer, producer, inventor and politician. A popular children's literature author in Peru, he is most recognized by his work Pirates in Callao, which was adapted into the first CGI motion picture in Peruvian cinematography. At political level, he is a member of the Peruvian Aprista Party, serving in Alan García's second administration as cabinet minister, from 2006 to 2008.Garrido Lecca graduated from the University of the Pacific with a major in economics. Subsequently, he attended Harvard Kennedy School and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, obtaining a Master's in Public Administration and a Master's of Science in Technology and Policy, respectively. He attained a PhD in Applied Economics at the University of Seville. His interest in literature led him to complete the master's program in Peruvian and Latin American Literature at the National University of San Marcos. He holds the rank of Major of the Peruvian Army (Reserve), and is a Private Pilot.After working in radio and television journalism in different media for more during the 1990s and publishing books in the fields of economics, science and technology, and consumer advocacy, Garrido Lecca entered politics by running for the Peruvian Congress at the 2001 general election with Union for Peru. Although not elected, he was recruited in the Peruvian Aprista Party as an advisor to former president Alan García. He was subsequently named the party's campaign manager for the 2006 general election.
At the start of the second presidency of Alan García in July 2006, Garrido Lecca was appointed Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation. In December 2007, he was rotated in the cabinet as Minister of Health. He resigned on October 14, 2008, amid the 2008 oil scandal, which led Alan García to sack his entire cabinet. Garrido Lecca was signaled as part of the scheme leading to the scandal, and currently remains under investigation alongside other former members of the administration.

Carmen Aurora Marcela Vildoso Chirinos (born March 3, 1956) is a Peruvian sociologist and academic. She served in Alan García's second administration, in the position of Minister of Women and Social Development, from October 2008 to June 2009.
Previously, she served as Deputy Minister of Promotion of Employment and Micro and Small Business at the Ministry of Labor and Promotion of Employment from August 2001 to July 2003 during Alejandro Toledo’s administration.
