Pauline Ranvier (born 14 April 1994) is a French right-handed foil fencer and 2021 team Olympic silver medalist.

Joanni Maurice Perronnet (19 October 1877 – 1 April 1950) was a French painter and fencer.
He was son of music composer Joanni Perronnet and Blanche Guérard, as well as grandson of the playwright and lyricist Amélie Perronnet.
He was a fencing master, the only professional allowed to compete in the Olympic Games at the time. Two such masters, Perronet and Leonidas Pyrgos of Greece, competed in a special foil fencing event at the first modern Olympics. The two faced each other in an event that consisted of a single bout to three touches. Perronet lost the bout, 3-1. He competed at the 1896 Summer Olympics in Athens, winning a silver medal and 3 goats.He had close links to Sarah Bernhardt, she was his godmother. In 1908, he became secretary-general of the Sarah-Bernhardt Théâtre Sarah-Bernhardt.
He is known as a painter, most of his paintings are seascapes. He also designed many posters for French railway companies and painted several portraits of Sarah Bernhardt.

Louis Léonce Théophile Perrée (25 March 1871 in Paris – 1 March 1924 in Ivry-la-Bataille) was a French fencer who competed in the late 19th century and early 20th century. He participated in Fencing at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris and won the silver medal in the epee. He was defeated by Ramón Fonst in the final.

Simon Alphonse Kirchhoffer (December 19, 1873 in Paris – June 30, 1913 in Paris) was a French fencer who competed in the late 19th century and early 20th century.
He participated in Fencing at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris and won the silver medal in the master's foil. He was defeated by Lucien Mérignac in the final.

Renée Garilhe (15 June 1923 – 6 July 1991) was a French fencer. She won a bronze medal in the women's individual foil event at the 1956 Summer Olympics, and a gold medal in both women's individual foil and foil team events at the 1950 World Fencing Championships.

Marcel Jacques Amand Romain Boulenger (Paris, 9 September 1873 – Chantilly, Oise, 21 May 1932) was a French novelist and fiction writer. He was awarded the Prix Nee of the Académie Française in 1918 and the Prix Stendhal in 1919. He was also a fencer of international standard, competing in the late 19th century and early 20th centuries.

Jean-Joseph Renaud (16 January 1873 – 7 December 1953) was a French épée and foil fencer. He competed at the 1900 Summer Olympics.He was also a prolific journalist, author and playwright whose books La Défense dans la rue (Self Defence in the Street - 1912) and L'Escrime (Fencing - 1911) are recognised as an important contribution to early 20th century literature on those subjects. He was a proponent of the field of honor, saying: "From every point of view dueling is beneficent." He refereed many duels (including ones involving Clemenceau and Leon Blum) and fought at least 15 himself (being a fencing master, all but 4 were fought with pistols; he was victorious in all of them).

Sangita Tripathi (born 8 July 1968) is a French fencer. She competed in the women's individual and team épée events at the 2000 Summer Olympics.

Jean-François Di Martino (born 2 March 1967) is a French fencer. He won a silver medal in the team épée event at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
