Pierre-Yves Trémois (8 January 1921 – 16 August 2020) was a French visual artist and sculptor, known for evocative works drawing in equal proportions on surrealism and science illustration, and for combining graphic precision and rigor with flamboyant fantasy. He was born in Paris.
He held seat #2 in the engraving section at the Académie des Beaux-Arts.
Éric Charden (French pronunciation: [eʁik ʃaʁdɛ̃]; born Jacques-André Puissant [ʒak‿ɑ̃dʁe pɥisɑ̃]; 15 October 1942 – 29 April 2012) was a French singer and songwriter, best known for his collaborations with singer Stone, with whom they formed the band Stone et Charden.Éric Charden was born in Haiphong, French Indochina during World War II. He is from a French father (who was a port engineer in France and overseas) and a Tibetan mother. He moved to Marseille, France, in 1950 with his mother (his father returned to France in 1954) and graduated with a Baccalauréat from HEC Paris in 1960.
He alongside Annie Gautrat were both decorated with the honorable Legion of Honour on 1 January 2012 just months before his death from cancer at age 69.
Élie Thitia Yaffa (French pronunciation: [eli jafa]; born 9 December 1976), better known under his stage name Booba, is a French rapper.
After a brief stint as a break dancer in the early 1990s, Booba partnered with his friend Ali to form Lunatic. The duo released a critically acclaimed album in 2000 but disbanded in 2003. Booba has since embarked on a successful solo career, selling more than 10 million discs over his career and becoming the most downloaded artist (legally) in France. Booba is praised for the quality of his flow and beats but often criticized because of the controversial nature of his lyrics. He has also established the rap label Tallac Records, and developed a line of jewellery.
J.-H. Rosny aîné was the pseudonym of Joseph Henri Honoré Boex (17 February 1856 – 11 February 1940). He is a French author of Belgian origin, he is considered as one of the founding figures of the modern science fiction[citation needed] . Born in Brussels in 1856. He wrote in French in collaboration with his younger-brother Séraphin Justin François Boex under the pen name J.-H. Rosny until 1909. After they ended their collaboration, Joseph Boex continued to write under the name "Rosny aîné" (Rosny the Elder) while his brother used J.-H. Rosny jeune (Rosny the Younger).
Jean-Luc Lahaye (born Jean-Luc Laheaye; 23 December 1952, in Paris) is a French pop singer, former television host and occasional writer.
Lahaye had his greatest success as a singer in the 1980s, with his songs "Femme que j'aime" and "Papa chanteur" (#1 hit in France). After more than ten years of absence, he resumed singing in 2004.
Lahaye is currently facing criminal investigations in France on charges of statutory rape and sexual assault on minors. French media reported in October 2022 that the singer was banned from holding concerts by the Investigating Judge in charge of his case.

Tristan Corbière (18 July 1845 – 1 March 1875), born Édouard-Joachim Corbière, was a French poet born in Coat-Congar, Ploujean (now part of Morlaix) in Brittany, where he lived most of his life before dying of tuberculosis at the age of 29. He was a French poet, close to Symbolism, and a figure of the "cursed poet".He is the author of a single collection of poetry Les Amours Jaunes, and of a few prose pieces. He led a mostly marginal and miserable life, nourished by two major failures due to his bone disease and his "ugliness" which he enjoyed accusing: the first is his sentimental life (he only loved one woman, called "Marcelle" in his work), and the second being his passion for the sea (he dreamt of becoming a sailor, like his father, Édouard Corbière). His poetry carries these two great wounds which led him to adopt a very cynical and incisive style, towards himself as much towards the life and world around him.
He died at the age of 29, possibly from tuberculosis, a childless bachelor with no work, entrenched in his old Breton manor, misunderstood by his contemporaries, and his innovative poetry was not recognised until well after his death.
