Friedrich Wolf (23 December 1888 – 5 October 1953) was a German doctor and politically-engaged writer. From 1949 to 1951, he served as East Germany's first ambassador to Poland.

Sir Andrew Graham Gilchrist (19 April 1910 – 6 March 1993) was a British Special Operations Executive operative who later served as the United Kingdom's Ambassador to Ireland, Indonesia, and Iceland during the Cold War.

Lloyd Nelson Hand (born January 31, 1929) is an American lawyer and former political aide who served as Chief of Protocol of the United States in the 1960s. Prior to that, he was an assistant to then-Senate Majority Leader Lyndon B. Johnson and served as a state coordinator for his presidential campaign.

James Elmer Akins (October 15, 1926 – July 15, 2010) was the U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia from September, 1973 to February, 1976, just in time to serve during the 1973 Oil Crisis of October, 1973 to March, 1974. Akins was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and on the advisory council of the Iran Policy Committee (IPC). Akins has been involved with the pro-Palestine organization If Americans Knew.
