Xavier_Le_Pichon

Xavier Le Pichon (born 18 June 1937 in Qui Nhơn, French protectorate of Annam (later South Vietnam and today Vietnam)) is a French geophysicist. Among many other contributions, he is known for his comprehensive model of plate tectonics (1968), helping create the field of plate tectonics. In 1968 he combined the kinematic ideas of W. J. Morgan, D. McKenzie and R. L. Parker with the large data sets collected by Lamont, and especially with the respective magnetic profiles, to show that Plate Tectonics could accurately describe the evolution of the major ocean basins. He is professor at the Collège de France, holder of the Chair of Geodynamics (1986–2008). He is a lifelong devout Catholic, and has come to think of caring attention to others' weakness as an essential quality that allowed humanity to evolve. He lives with his wife and has five children and eleven grandchildren.

Colette_Darfeuil

Colette Darfeuil (born Emma Henriette Augustine Floquet, 7 February 1906 – 15 October 1998) was a French actress whose film career began at age 14 in 1920 and continued through the early 1950s.
Darfeuil made her screen debut in at age 14 in the 1920 Pierre Colombier-directed silent film Les Étrennes à travers les âges and would work steadily through the silent era and into the sound era.

Françoise Seigner (7 April 1928 – 13 October 2008) was a French actress. She is best known for her theatre work, but also acted in a few movies, such as The Wild Child (1970) and the 2005 adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel By the Pricking of My Thumbs (2005). She was the aunt of actresses Emmanuelle and Mathilde Seigner.Seigner died of pancreatic cancer.

Renato_Salvatori

Renato Salvatori (20 March 1933 – 27 March 1988) was an Italian actor.
Born in Seravezza, Province of Lucca, Salvatori began his career in his teens playing juvenile, romantic roles. After working with directors such as Luchino Visconti, Roberto Rossellini and Vittorio De Sica, he developed into one of Italy's strongest character actors.
He met French actress Annie Girardot on the set of the film Rocco and His Brothers (1960) and married her on 6 January 1962. They had a daughter, Giulia; later the couple separated but never divorced.
Salvatori died in Rome of liver cirrhosis on 27 March 1988.
