Charles Ronald "Choo Choo" Justice (May 18, 1924 – October 17, 2003) was an American professional football player who was a halfback for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1961.
Howard Albert "Hopalong" Cassady (March 2, 1934 – September 20, 2019) was an American football halfback and split end who played in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 1955. Cassady played in the NFL for eight seasons, seven of them for the Detroit Lions, with whom he won the 1957 NFL Championship Game. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1979.
Donald Arld Veller (May 20, 1912 – November 10, 2006) was an American football player and coach of football and golf. He served as the head football coach at Hanover College in 1946 and at Florida State University from 1948 to 1952, compiling a career college football record of 35–15–1. Veller died at the age of 94 on November 10, 2006, in Tallahassee, Florida.

Gordon Paiʻea Chung-Hoon (July 25, 1910 – July 24, 1979) was an admiral in the United States Navy, who served during World War II and was the first Asian American flag officer. He received the Navy Cross and Silver Star for conspicuous gallantry and extraordinary heroism as commanding officer of USS Sigsbee from May 1944 to October 1945.
Thomas Kaauwai Kaulukukui (January 22, 1913 – March 9, 2007) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at the University of Hawaiʻi in 1941, as co-head coach with Eugene Gill, and from 1946 to 1950. From 1956–1959 he served as head coach of ʻIolani preparatory school in Honolulu.Kaulukukui was a standout college athlete who earned 17 letters in five sports and was the University of Hawaii's first All-American football player. He was nicknamed "Grass Shack" by legendary sportswriter Grantland Rice. His number, #32, is only one of two numbers to have ever been retired by the Hawaii football program.
John Doehring (November 6, 1909 – November 18, 1972) was an American football halfback/fullback in the National Football League (NFL). Despite never playing in college, he played professionally for the Chicago Bears (1932–1934, 1936–1937) and the Pittsburgh Pirates (1935).
Dougal Russell Jr. (June 11, 1911 – October 10, 1995) was a professional American football player. In the 1935 season, Russell led the NFL in rushing yards with 499. On November 27, 1938, during a game against the Cleveland Rams, Russell threw a 98-yard touchdown pass to Gaynell Tinsley.
Howard Edward "Red" Maley (December 6, 1921 – June 20, 1987), was an American football back and punter in the National Football League (NFL). Drafted in 1944, Maley played for two seasons from 1946 to 1947 for the Boston Yanks. Maley played college football at Texas–Arlington and Southern Methodist University.
