Alfred Jan Maksymilian Kowalski (Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski; 11 October 1849 – 16 February 1915) was a Polish painter and representative of the Munich School.

Władysław Ślewiński (1 June 1856, in Nowy Białynin – 24 March 1918, in Paris) was a Polish painter. He was one of Gauguin's students and a leading artist of the Young Poland movement.

Leon Jan Wyczółkowski (Polish: [vɨtʂuwˈkɔfskʲi]; 24 April 1852 – 27 December 1936) was one of the leading painters of the Young Poland movement, as well as the principal representative of Polish Realism in art of the Interbellum. From 1895 to 1911 he served as professor of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in Kraków, and from 1934, ASP in Warsaw. He was a founding member of the Society of Polish Artists "Sztuka" (Art, 1897).

Władysław Czachórski (22 September 1850 – 13 January 1911) was a Polish painter in the Academic style.

Józef Marian Chełmoński (November 7, 1849 – April 6, 1914) was a Polish painter of the realist school with roots in the historical and social context of the late Romantic period in partitioned Poland. He is famous for monumental paintings now at the Sukiennice National Art Gallery in Kraków and at the MNW in Warsaw.
