Donald George Leppert (October 19, 1931 – April 13, 2023) was an American professional baseball player and coach.
A catcher, Leppert appeared in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1961 to 1964 for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Senators. Leppert threw and batted right-handed; he stood 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m) tall and weighed 220 pounds (100 kg). He was born in Indianapolis and began his 12-year active career in 1955 in the Milwaukee Braves' organization.
Billy Frank Jr. (March 9, 1931 – May 5, 2014) was a Native American environmental leader and advocate for treaty rights. As a member of the Nisqually tribe, Frank led a grassroots campaign in the 1960s and 1970s to secure fishing rights on the Nisqually River, located in Washington state. His efforts centered around promoting cooperative management of natural resources. Frank served as the chairman of the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission for over thirty years.During the Fish Wars, Frank organized a series of "fish-ins." These events culminated in the landmark Boldt Decision, which affirmed that Washington state tribes were entitled to fifty percent of the annual fish harvest.In recognition of his contributions, Frank was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama in November 2015. The Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge was renamed in his honor in December 2015. Billy Frank Jr. continues to be considered to be a bridge between Western and Native American societies in regards to environmental sustainability.
Eva Seeberg (28 April 1931 – 12 January 2019) was a Norwegian journalist, novelist and screenwriter. She was born in Oslo. She made her literary debut in 1949 with Undring. Unge skisser. Her novels from the 1960s and 1970s include Det er meg han har vært hos from 1952, Aldri mer alene from 1955, and Tid til ømhet from 1968. Vera Louise Holmøy (27 April 1931 in Oslo – 12 December 2021) was a Norwegian judge.
She was hired in the Ministry of Justice and the Police in 1957, became assisting secretary in 1965 and deputy under-secretary of State in 1974. She was a Supreme Court Justice from 1976 to 2001.Vera Louise Holmøy was married to judge Tor Holmøy. She died at the age of 90.
Kåre Joachim Calmeyer (23 June 1931 – 26 December 2016) was a Norwegian actor. He was born in Oslo, and grew up in Horten and Tromsø. He was the brother of jazz musician Ola and journalist Bengt Calmeyer.He made his stage debut at Rogaland Teater in 1953 in the opera Don Pasquale. He was employed at Rogaland Teater from 1956 to 1960, at Det Norske Teatret from 1960 to 1964, Nationaltheatret from 1964 to 1972, Den Nationale Scene from 1972 to 1978 and then in Nationaltheatret. He has also appeared in Fjernsynsteatret, and played in Før frostnettene (1966), Lars i porten (1984), Sigurd Drakedreper (1989), Vestavind (1994) and the main role in Kitchen Stories (2003).He was an honorary member of the Norwegian Actors' Equity Association and was decorated as a Knight, First Class of the Order of St. Olav in 2001. In 2012 he was given the Amanda Committee's Honorary Award. Calmeyer died on 26 December 2016 at the age of 85.
Bert Dail Seabourn (July 9, 1931 – November 17, 2022) was an American expressionist painter, known for his stylized and nonrepresentational neo-expressionist artist. In his early career, he published comic book art and realistic pieces, as well as commercial art. He has won multiple awards for his artworks. An alumnus of Oklahoma City University, the school awarded him the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters in 1997.
Evelyn Irene Hoopes Teegan (born November 17, 1931, Muscatine County, Iowa) was a non-career appointee who served concurrent appointments as the American Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kiribati, Tuvalu, Fiji, and Tonga from November 21, 1989, to March 5, 1993.

Wallace Bruner Jr. (March 4, 1931 – November 3, 1997) was an American journalist and television host. He covered Congress and the Lyndon Johnson administration for ABC News in the 1960s. He was the first host of the 1968–1975 syndicated version of What's My Line? and went on to host the syndicated home repair show Wally's Workshop. He was also one of the first Americans to receive a heart transplant.
Jerry Hilgenberg (April 9, 1931 – January 14, 2024) was an American football player and coach for the University of Iowa. He was a first team All-American in 1953 and served as an assistant coach to the Iowa football team for eight seasons.
