Stephen Williams (August 28, 1926 – June 2, 2017) was an archaeologist at Harvard University who held the title of Peabody Professor of North American Archaeology and Ethnography.

Chriet Titulaer (May 9, 1943 – April 23, 2017), born in Hout-Blerick, Venlo, Limburg, was a Dutch astronomer, television presenter and popular science and technology writer. He lived in Houten, Utrecht.

Adrien Duvillard (7 November 1934, Megève – 14 February 2017) was a French alpine skier who competed in the 1956 Winter Olympics and 1960 Winter Olympics.His son Adrien and his brother Henri Duvillard were also successful skiers.
At the 1956 Winter Olympics he finished 4th in the Giant Slalom, earning France's best result at those games.

Robert Hirsch (26 July 1925 – 16 November 2017) was a French actor. He was a sociétaire of the Comédie-Française since 1952. In 1990, he won César Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his role in Hiver 54, l'abbé Pierre.
His other film appearances included The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and in 2006/07 he appeared in Le gardien (a French adaptation of Harold Pinter's The Caretaker) at Théâtre de l'Oeuvre then Théâtre de Paris.
In April 2011, he asked Florian Zeller to write a part specially for him. The result was Le Père which had its first performance in Le Théâtre Hébertot, Paris, in September 2012. Hirsch played the central character, André, at the age of 87.

Christy Peter Mihos (June 13, 1949 – March 25, 2017) was an American politician and businessman from Massachusetts. He was an Independent candidate for governor of Massachusetts in 2006. He ran for the Republican nomination for governor in 2010, but did not receive enough votes at the Republican Convention to qualify for the primary ballot.

Chris Bearde (18 June 1936 – 23 April 2017) was a British-born comedy writer, producer and director best known for his work as a writer on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In and for co-writing and producing television specials for Elvis Presley, Bob Hope, Sonny & Cher, Bill Cosby, Steve Martin, Jim Carrey, Andy Williams, The Jackson 5, The Osmonds, Dinah Shore, Diana Ross, and Lucille Ball. He also created the format for the original Gong Show and a number of network and pay-cable comedy series including That's My Mama and Sherman Oaks.

Warren Allen Smith (October 27, 1921 – January 9, 2017) was an American writer, humanist and gay rights activist. A World War II veteran and an outspoken atheist, he dubbed himself as "the atheist in a foxhole".

Wendell Ray Burton (July 21, 1947 – May 30, 2017) was an American television executive and actor. He is best known for his co-starring role with Liza Minnelli in the 1969 movie The Sterile Cuckoo (1969).

Jerry Adriani (Jair Alves de Sousa; 29 January 1947 – 23 April 2017) was a Brazilian singer, musician and actor. He began his career in television while working with Rede Tupi in São Paulo. His early work included his time as vocalist with the ensemble Os Rebeldes.

Gerald Daniel Kleczka (; November 26, 1943 – October 8, 2017) was an American politician and Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from 1984 to 2005, representing Wisconsin's 4th congressional district. The district included the city of Milwaukee.
