Saturnino Escalera Cuadrado (December 1, 1929 – July 3, 2021) was a Puerto Rican former professional baseball player and scout whose playing career extended for 14 seasons (1949–1962). The outfielder and first baseman appeared for one full season, 1954, in Major League Baseball for the Cincinnati Redlegs and was the first player of African descent to appear in an MLB game for the Cincinnati franchise. He threw and batted left-handed, stood 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 m) tall and 165 pounds (75 kg).

Fredrik_Olsen

Thomas Fredrik Olsen or Fred Olsen (born 1 January 1929) is a Norwegian shipping magnate and Chairman of the companies in the Fred. Olsen & Co. company. He is the fourth generation running the Fred. Olsen Group, founded by his great grandfather Petter Olsen and named after his grandfather Thomas Fredrik Olsen. Though he remains the chairman of the companies, ownership and CEO functions are retained by his daughter Anette S. Olsen. In addition to his jobs within the Fred. Olsen group he was for a period also chairman of the Aker Group.
Fred Olsen has been called "The Norwegian Howard Hughes" for his great wealth and avoidance of publicity.It was announced on 3 January 2006, that Fred Olsen was to sell almost his entire collection of Edvard Munch paintings; the auction through Sotheby's London fetched almost £17m. Olsen has previously been involved in a legal dispute with his younger brother, Petter Olsen, concerning the important Munch collection brought together by their father Thomas Fredrik Olsen; according to the will of their mother Henriette Olsen, they were to be left to the younger son. Fred Olsen contested the will but lost the case in the Oslo District Court in 2001.He is a fellow of the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences.

Kjell_Noreik

Kjell Noreik (28 July 1929 – 1 January 2015) was a Norwegian physician. He was born in Oslo. He was appointed professor of social medicine at the University of Oslo from 1986 to 1999. He was frequently used as an expert forensic psychiatrist, and was a member of the Norwegian Board of Forensic Medicine. He resided at Slependen.

His grandfather Lauritz Kloster founded Kloster Rederi in 1924. In 1959 Kloster joined the family business and transformed it into a leading cruise line.
Together with Ted Arison he founded Norwegian Caribbean Line in 1966.

Per Engebret Stockfleth Enger (24 February 1929 – 19 November 2018) was a Norwegian zoophysiologist.
He was born in Oslo as a son of painter Erling Enger (1899–1990) and office clerk Aud Stockfleth (1899–1987). He took the dr.philos. degree in 1963 on the thesis Single unit activity in the fish auditory system. He was hired at the University of Oslo in 1956, and served as a professor of zoophysiology from 1975 to 1994. He is a fellow of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters.

Richard Edward Cavazos (January 31, 1929 – October 29, 2017) was a United States Army 4-star general. He was a Korean War recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross as a first lieutenant and advanced in rank to become the United States Army's first Hispanic four-star general. During the Vietnam War, as a lieutenant colonel, Cavazos was awarded a second Distinguished Service Cross. In 1976, Cavazos became the first Mexican-American to reach the rank of brigadier general in the United States Army. Cavazos served for 33 years, with his final command as head of the United States Army Forces Command. On May 25, 2022, The Naming Commission recommended that Fort Hood be renamed to Fort Cavazos, in recognition of Gen. Cavazos' military service. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered the renaming on October 6, 2022. The re-designation as Fort Cavazos occurred on May 9, 2023.

Hardin was born in Texas and studied acting at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before beginning his acting career in New York. He is married with two children, one of whom is actress Melora Hardin.
