Charles_Gondouin

Charles Gondouin (21 July 1875 – 25 December 1947) was a French rugby union player and tug of war competitor who competed in the 1900 Summer Olympics. He was a member of the French rugby union team, which won the gold medal. Gondouin studied at the Lycée Condorcet, then worked as a sports journalist. He also participated in the tug of war competition and won a silver medal as a member of French team. He was killed on Christmas Eve when he was struck by a motorist in Paris while returning from a meeting for a racing club in France.

Jean Collas (3 July 1874 in Paris – 30 December 1928 in Asnières-sur-Seine, France) was a French rugby union player and tug of war competitor, who competed in the 1900 Summer Olympics. He was a member of the French rugby union team, which won the gold medal. He also participated in the tug of war competition and won a silver medal as a member of the French team.

Wladimir_Aïtoff

Vladimir Aïtoff (August 5, 1879 in Paris – Septempber 6, 1963 in Paris) was a French rugby union player who competed in the 1900 Summer Olympics. Aïtoff was a member of the French rugby union team, which won the gold medal. During World War I, Aïtoff was a doctor in the French Army, with him being awarded with the Croix de Guerre and the Légion d'honneur. In World War II, he was imprisoned in both the Buchenwald and Auschwitz concentration camps.

Charles Devendeville (8 March 1882 in Lesquin – 19 September 1914 in Reims) was a French swimmer and Olympic champion. He competed at the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris, where he received a gold medal in the underwater swimming. He died of injuries during the First World War, at age 32.

Lucien_Démanet

Georges Lucien Démanet (6 December 1874 – 20 June 1943) was a French gymnast who competed at the turn of the 20th century. He participated in Gymnastics at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris and won the bronze medal with a total score of 293 points in the only gymnastic event to take place at the games, the combined exercises. Gustave Sandras won gold with a score of 302 points and Noel Bas won silver.

Noël_Bas

François "Noël" Bas (25 December 1877 –3 July 1960) was a French gymnast who competed in the early 20th century. He participated in Gymnastics at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris and won the silver medal in the only gymnastic event to take place at the games, the combined exercises. Gustave Sandras won gold.
