Cesare Zavattini (20 September 1902 – 13 October 1989) was an Italian screenwriter and one of the first theorists and proponents of the Neorealist movement in Italian cinema.

She was the daughter of banker and French finance minister Jacques Necker and Suzanne Curchod, a respected salonhostess. Throughout her life, she held a moderate stance during the tumultuous periods of the French Revolution and the Napoleonic era, persisting until the time of the French Restoration.Her presence at critical events such as the Estates General of 1789 and the 1789 Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen underscored her engagement in the political discourse of her time. However, Madame de Staël faced exile for extended periods: initially during the Reign of Terror and subsequently due to personal persecution by Napoleon. She claimed to have discerned the tyrannical nature and ambitions of his rule ahead of many others.During her exile, she fostered the Coppet group, a network that spanned across Europe, positioning herself at its heart. Her literary works, emphasizing individuality and passion, left an enduring imprint on European intellectual thought. De Staël's repeated championing of Romanticism contributed significantly to its widespread recognition.While her literary legacy has somewhat faded with time, her critical and historical contributions hold undeniable significance. Though her novels and plays may now be less remembered, the value of her analytical and historical writings remains steadfast. Within her work, de Staël not only advocates for the necessity of public expression but also sounds cautionary notes about its potential hazards.

Andrea de Cesaris (Italian pronunciation: [anˈdrɛ.a de ˈt͡ʃɛ.za.ris]; 31 May 1959 – 5 October 2014) was an Italian racing driver. He started 208 Formula One Grands Prix but never won. As a result, he holds the record for the most races started without a race victory. A string of accidents early in his career earned him a reputation for being a fast but wild driver.In 2005 and 2006, de Cesaris competed in the Grand Prix Masters formula for retired Formula One drivers. He died on 5 October 2014 after losing control of his motorcycle on Rome's Grande Raccordo Anulare motorway.

Randi Runa Svenkerud Flesland (born 17 November 1955 in Oslo) is a Norwegian civil servant.
Flesland was educated at Trinity College, Dublin, with education in economics, with addition of psychology and pedagogy in the universities of Oslo and Davis, California. She had several leading positions in Norges Statsbaner, for 17 yrs until 2000, such as head of Intercity, Financial director and finally deputy CEO.
She then became director of the Norwegian National Airport Administration; later the agency became Avinor. She was in charge of a substantial restructurering of work processes and increased efficiency in order to make financial room for large safety investments. She resigned December 2005 after a long conflict of interests with the trade unions for traffic controllers. She was instead hired in IBM. In 2008, she became the new director of the Norwegian Consumer Council. She has also held several executive board positions, mostly within transport and public health.She shares the name Flesland with Norway's second largest airport.

Anne Tucker McGuire (29 January 1913 in Winchester, Virginia, US – 3 August 1988 in London, England) was an American-born actress who appeared largely in British films and television. She married actor Tom Macaulay.
She appeared in the 1949 West End musical Her Excellency.
In 1952 she played Patrick Barr 's assistant and secretary in the seven-part British television series, 'Inspector Morley: Late of Scotland Yard', which also starred Dorothy Bramhall; Arthur Howard; Tod Slaughter; and Johnny Briggs.
In 1958, she appeared as Margaret "Molly" Brown in the film A Night to Remember, about the infamous ocean liner Titanic, in which she insisted Lifeboat No 6 should turn round to help rescue passengers, appealing to the other women to "Come on, girls. Row!" According to director Roy Ward Baker, McGuire was the only cast member who caused him any trouble on the film, describing her as "ornery," and saying "I don't know what got into her."

Simon Walker (24 January 1958 – 26 February 2004) was a British historian of late-medieval England. Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he was educated at Charterhouse School and Magdalen College, Oxford. He was awarded a Prize Fellowship of All Souls College, Oxford where he completed his D.Phil thesis on John of Gaunt. In 1984 he was appointed to a lectureship at the University of Sheffield, and was subsequently promoted to Reader. In 1999 he was appointed a vice-warden of All Souls and gained an Extraordinary Research Fellowship at the College.Walker's work focused on late-medieval political history, more specifically on the relations between nobles and retainers within the framework often referred to as bastard feudalism. His best-known work, The Lancastrian Affinity, 1361–1399 (1990), explored the retinue of John of Gaunt. Walker died of cancer in 2004.

Maurice Southgate (20 June 1913 – 17 March 1990), code named Hector, was an officer in the Royal Air Force and an agent of the United Kingdom's clandestine Special Operations Executive (SOE) organization during World War II. The purpose of SOE was to conduct espionage, sabotage, and reconnaissance in occupied Europe against the Axis powers, especially Nazi Germany. SOE agents allied themselves with resistance groups and supplied them with weapons and equipment parachuted in from England.
Southgate was the organiser (leader) of the SOE's STATIONER network (or circuit) operating in a large area centered on Châteauroux in central France and Tarbes in southern France from 1942 to 1944. He was captured by the SS in Montluçon in 1944 and deported to Buchenwald concentration camp where he survived until its liberation by American forces in 1945. Southgate was regarded by Maurice Buckmaster, head of SOE's French Section, as one of his best agents.

Madame Doubtfire, known as Alias Madame Doubtfire in the United States, is a 1987 novel written by English author Anne Fine for teenage and young adult audiences. The novel is based on a family with divorced parents. Well received upon its publication in the UK, it was shortlisted for awards, including the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize and Whitbread Children's Book Award.
In November 1993, six years following its publication, the novel was adapted into Mrs. Doubtfire, a film starring Robin Williams and Sally Field.

She was known, among other things, for her role in the popular Norwegian TV-drama Offshore.At the age of seven, Kjersti started dancing, her career began as a ballet dancer. She worked in this area at the Norwegian Opera for eight years before her breakthrough in 1967 in Claudine's role in CanCan.Døvigen, the widow of financier Halvor Astrup, was the mother of the actress Ulrikke Hansen Døvigen and lived in Bath, England.
