Frédérik Edouard Robert "Fred" Deburghgraeve (born 1 June 1973 in Roeselare) is a former Belgian swimmer who won the gold medal in the 100 m breaststroke and set a world record during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. He is now retired from swimming and makes a living as a salesman. He lives in Roeselare. Deburghgraeve was trained by a Dutchman, named Ronald Gaastra.
In 2008 Deburghgraeve was inducted in the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
Amanda Ray Beard (born October 29, 1981), also known by her married name Amanda Brown, is an American swimmer and a seven-time Olympic medalist (two gold, four silver, one bronze). Jean-Christophe Sarnin (born 2 April 1976 in Lyon, Rhône) is a retired male breaststroke swimmer from France, who represented his native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, United States. He won the silver medal in the men's 200m breaststroke at the 1998 World Aquatics Championships in Perth, Australia.
Mylène Lazare (born 20 November 1987, Lagny-sur-Marne) is a French swimmer, who won a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's 4 x 200 m freestyle.
