Rex L. Mirich (born March 11, 1941) is a former American football defensive lineman in the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football for Northern Arizona, Mirich was drafted by both the AFL and the NFL in 1963. He was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 16th round (212th overall) of the 1963 NFL Draft and by the Oakland Raiders in the 20th round (153rd overall) of the 1963 AFL Draft. He played seven seasons for the AFL's Oakland Raiders (1964–1966) and Denver Broncos (1967–1969), and the NFL's Boston Patriots (1970).In 2012, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Robert William Schmieder (born July 10, 1941) is an American scientist and explorer. Schmieder has had a multidisciplinary career, broadly divided between physics and related physical sciences, and natural science and exploration. In most of his projects, he created and led teams of both professional scientists and volunteers. His work is documented in about 100 technical publications and 10 books. Among his most significant work was the invention of laser spark spectroscopy (now commercialized), the formulation of nanologic (the use of nanoscale devices in computers), and the concept of underwater islands (which led to designation of the Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary).

Gloria Neil (born January 13, 1941) is an American television and film actress. She is best known for her roles on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and The Beverly Hillbillies, as well as the 1960s-era films The Beach Girls and the Monster and The Karate Killers.

William Moritz (May 6, 1941 – March 12, 2004), film historian, specialized in visual music and experimental animation. His principal published works concerned abstract filmmaker and painter Oskar Fischinger. He also wrote extensively on other visual music artists who worked with motion pictures, including James and John Whitney and Jordan Belson; Moritz also published on German cinema, Visual Music, color organs, experimental animation, avant-garde film and the California School of Color Music.

Ernesto Arturo Miranda (March 9, 1941 – January 31, 1976) was an American laborer whose criminal conviction on kidnapping, rape, and armed robbery charges based on his confession under police interrogation was set aside in the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case Miranda v. Arizona, which ruled that criminal suspects must be informed of their right against self-incrimination and their right to consult with an attorney before being questioned by police. This warning is known as a Miranda warning.
After the Supreme Court decision invalidated Miranda's initial conviction, the state of Arizona tried him again. At the second trial, with his confession excluded from evidence, he was convicted. He was sentenced to 20–30 years in prison.
On January 31, 1976, Miranda was stabbed to death in Phoenix, Arizona. A Mexican man, Eseziquiel Moreno Perez, was charged with the murder of Miranda, but fled to Mexico and has never been located.

Mary Patricia ("Patsy") Willard (born May 18, 1941) is a former American diver. She competed at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where she won a bronze medal in the 3 meter springboard event.At the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, she finished in fourth place in the springboard.Willard is a 1959 graduate of Mesa High School in Mesa, Arizona and attended Arizona State University.

Paul Kuykendall Dayton (born April 8, 1941 in Tucson, Arizona) is a biological oceanographer and marine ecologist at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Dayton works in benthic ecology, marine conservation, evolution, natural history, and general ecology.
During a 35-year career at Scripps, Dayton has researched coastal Antarctic habitats and the rocky shore habitats of Washington in order to better understand marine ecosystems. He has also documented the environmental impacts of overfishing, and phenomena such as El Niño on coastal ecology.Dayton is the only person to win both the George Mercer Award (1974) and the WS Cooper Award (2000) from the Ecological Society of America. In 2002, he received the Scientific Diving Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Academy of Underwater Sciences; in 2004 he was honored with the Edward O. Wilson Naturalist Award from the American Society of Naturalists, and in 2006 was the first recipient of the Ramon Margalef Prize in Ecology. Dayton has been director of The Ocean Conservancy and the National Research Council Panel on Marine Protected Areas. He has been a frequent contributor to Science magazine.Dayton's 1971 paper titled "Competition, disturbance and community organization: The provision and subsequent utilization of space in a rocky intertidal community" in Ecological Monographs has been cited over 1800 times as of April 2012.

Macario Saldate IV (born December 13, 1941) is an American politician and a former Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives representing District 3 from 2013 to 2019.
Saldate previously served consecutively from January 10, 2011, until January 14, 2013, in the District 27 seat.

Nicola Martinucci (born 28 March 1941) is an Italian opera singer, particularly noted for his performances in the spinto tenor of roles Calaf in Turandot, Radamès in Aida, and the title role in Andrea Chénier.

Enrico Beruschi (born 5 September 1941) is an Italian comedian, actor, singer and television personality. He studied at the Italian Liceo classico in Milan, having Cochi Ponzoni as his deskmate.Formerly employed in a food company, Beruschi began his career as a comedian at the Derby Club (Milan) in 1972 . He became popular in 1977 with the RAI variety show Non Stop, in which he proposed the comedy sketches of a bumbling accountant oppressed by his wife (played by Margherita Fumero). In the following years Beruschi appeared in a large number of TV shows, reaching the peak of his popularity with Drive in. From the early 1990s he focused on theatre and standup comedy.Beruschi also recorded several comedy songs. In 1979 he entered the competition at the Sanremo Music Festival, finishing fifth with the song "Sarà un fiore".
