Lucien Charles Gilbert Daloz (9 October 1930 – 31 July 2012) was the archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Besançon, France.Ordained in 1955, Daloz became bishop of Langres in 1975 and archbishop of Besançon in 1980, retiring in 2003.
Millôr Fernandes (August 16, 1923 – March 27, 2012) was a Brazilian writer, journalist, cartoonist, humorist and playwright. Born Milton Viola Fernandes, his birth was registered on May 27, 1924; the handwriting on his birth certificate rendered the name "Millôr", which he adopted as his official name.He was born in Rio de Janeiro, and started his journalistic career in 1938, publishing in several Brazilian magazines, such as O Cruzeiro and A Cigarra Millor was known by his ironic humor, and was the author of thousands of satirical aphorisms.In 1956, Millôr shared with Saul Steinberg the first prize at the Buenos Aires International Caricature Exhibition, and in 1957 he had a one-man exhibition in Rio de Janeiro's Museum of Modern Art.Together with Jaguar, Ziraldo and others, he founded in 1969 the groundbreaking satirical newspaper O Pasquim.Millôr wrote a number of successful plays, and has also translated classics such as Shakespeare.He died on March 27, 2012, in Rio de Janeiro, due to complications after a stroke. He was 88 years old.

Maurice De Muer (4 October 1921 – 4 March 2012) was a French cyclist who rode as a professional between 1943 and 1951 and later became a cycling team manager.He won Paris–Camembert in 1944 and finished second in the 1946 edition of Paris–Nice. He also rode in the 1947 and 1948 Tour de France.De Muer is mostly remembered as a cycling team manager. He started by supporting a small team, Pelforth-Wild-Lejeune, recruiting aggressive riders. This team was allowed to participate in the Tour de France in 1963. He became noticed as a sports director when in 1964 one of his cyclists Georges Groussard wore the yellow jersey for 10 days. He then led the team Bic (1969-1974) with which he led the fiery Luis Ocaña to victory in the Tour de France in 1973. He managed the Peugeot cycling team from 1975 to 1982.

Maurice Chevit (31 October 1923 – 2 July 2012) was a French actor.Maurice Chevit made his theatrical début just after the Second World War, and made his first screen appearance in 1946 in René Clément's film Le Père tranquille. In August 1950, the Theatre de la Huchette in Paris presented Pepita ou Cinq cents francs de bonheur, a three-act comedy that Chevit co-wrote with Henri Fontenille; Chevit himself appeared in it, playing alongside Jacqueline Maillan, Pierre Mondy and Jacques Jouanneau. He was seen in many small film roles during the 1950s and 1960s, working with producers such as Henri Decoin and André Cayatte, but he was best known as a stage actor.
