Beatrice Helen Worsley (18 October 1921 – 8 May 1972) was the first female Canadian computer scientist. She received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Cambridge with Maurice Wilkes as adviser, the first Ph.D. granted in what would today be known as computer science. She wrote the first program to run on EDSAC, co-wrote the first compiler for Toronto's Ferranti Mark 1, wrote numerous papers in computer science, and taught computers and engineering at Queen's University and the University of Toronto for over 20 years before her death at the age of 50.

Robert Overton Lesher (April 6, 1921 – May 10, 2005) was a justice of the Supreme Court of Arizona from September 20, 1960, to December 12, 1960.Lester attended University of Arizona for law school, graduating first in his class in 1949 alongside Mo Udall, Raul H. Castro and Samuel P. Goddard. Lesher took the Bar exam in July, 1949 and placed first among 60 candidates.Governor Paul Fannin appointed Lesher to the court after J. Mercer Johnson resigned to return to private practice. At 39, Lesher was the youngest justice in the court's history. Barry Goldwater campaigned for Lesher during his reelection campaign. Lesher lost re-election to a full term to Democrat Renz L. Jennings, with Lesher getting 61,210 votes to Jennings' 96,824. He died on May 10, 2005.

John Holloway Cushman (October 3, 1921 – November 8, 2017) was a lieutenant general in the United States Army.Cushman was born in Tianjin, China while his father, Horace Oscar Cushman, was serving in the 15th Infantry.He was a 1944 graduate of the United States Military Academy. While at West Point, Cushman played for the Army Black Knights men's soccer program, where he was named a second-team All-American in 1943.In 1963 Colonel Cushman served as adviser to the Army of the Republic of Vietnam 23rd Division in the Mekong Delta.He commanded the I Corps in the Western sector of Korea's Demilitarized Zone from 1976 to 1978. He also commanded the 101st Airborne Division from 1972 to 1973. he died in Washington D.C from a stroke on November 8 2017 at age 96

Kenneth W. Thompson (August 29, 1921 – February 2, 2013) was an American academic and author known for his contributions to normative theory in international relations. In 1978 he became director of the Miller Center of Public Affairs at the University of Virginia. He retired as director in 1998, but continued to head its Forum Program until 2004.

Richard Clement Wade (July 14, 1921 in Des Moines, Iowa – July 18, 2008 in Manhattan, New York) was an American historian and urban studies professor who advised many Democratic politicians and candidates. As a historian, he pioneered the interdisciplinary application of social science techniques to the study of urban history and promoted cities as an important academic subject.

Harry Joseph Middleton Jr. (October 24, 1921 – January 20, 2017) was an American journalist, author, and library director who served as Lyndon B. Johnson's Presidential speech writer and staff assistant from 1967 to 1969. Middleton was also director of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum from 1971 until 2002, and led the Lyndon Baines Johnson Foundation from 1993 until 2004.

Jack Hamilton Beeson (July 15, 1921 – June 6, 2010) was an American composer. He was known particularly for his operas, the best known of which are Lizzie Borden, Hello Out There!, and The Sweet Bye and Bye.

Ward B. "Hoot" Gibson Jr. (December 5, 1921 – February 1, 1958) was an American professional basketball player. He played for several teams in the National Basketball League (NBL) and National Basketball Association (NBA).Gibson was killed in a car accident in his hometown of Des Moines, Iowa when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving and hit a tree. He was survived by his wife, Vonnie.

Patricia Barry (born Patricia Allen White, November 16, 1922 – October 11, 2016) was an American stage, film, and television actress.Although Barry has numerous credits performing in stage productions and in films, the majority of her work was in television between 1950 and 2005, when she appeared in over 100 series either in supporting roles or as a guest star.
