Pierre Papadiamandis (31 January 1937 – 22 March 2022) was a French songwriter and pianist.

Mathias Malzieu (born 1974) is the lead singer of the French band Dionysos, which he co-founded in 1993 when he lived in Valence in Drôme (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes). Three of his schoolfriends, Eric Serra Tosio, Michael Ponton and Guillaume Garidel, were among the band's original members.

Renaud Hantson (29 March 1963) is a French singer, musician, drummer, actor and writer. Besides his solo career, he has been part of hard rock and rock bands like Satan Jokers and Furious Zoo.

Gaëtan Roussel (French pronunciation: [ɡaetɑ̃ ʁusɛl]; born 13 October 1972, Rodez) is a French singer-songwriter and composer. Roussel is the former lead vocalist for the bands, Louise Attaque and Tarmac.Roussel embarked on a solo career and began recording an album in 2009. He released his debut solo album, Ginger, which was released on 15 March 2010. Ginger featured the lead single, "Help myself (Nous ne faisons que passer)" and the second single, "Dis-moi encore que tu m'aimes". He released the album Orpailleur in 2013 and Trafic in 2018.

Jean-Benoît Dunckel (born 7 September 1969) is a French musician best known for being one half of the French music duo Air, along with Nicolas Godin.In the 1980s, he formed the band Orange with Alex Gopher, Xavier Jamaux and Jean de Reydellet. He studied mathematics and physics and taught at a middle school in Paris, before embarking on a career as a professional musician. Since 1995, he has been one of two members of the band Air, along with his partner Nicolas Godin.
Working under the name Darkel, he released his first solo album, titled Darkel, in September 2006.
In 2011, he formed the electronica side project Tomorrow's World with Lou Hayter of New Young Pony Club. Tomorrow's World, their first album, was released in 2013.
Dunckel collaborated with Icelander Barði Jóhannsson under the name Starwalker and released an EP in March 2014, featuring "Losers Can Win" and "Bad Weather". A new song not featured on the EP was issued in November 2014, titled Blue Hawaii. In April 2016, a self-titled, full-length album was released.In March 2015, he issued the four-track mini-album titled The Man of Sorrow. Also in 2015, he composed the soundtrack for the film The Summer of Sangailé. The soundtrack album was released on 24 July.
In 2018, he released his 2nd full-length solo album titled H+ under Jive Epic records.
Four years later, in June 2022, Dunckel released his next full-length studio album Carbon, under his own label Prototyp. On the album (theme) Dunckel suggests technology could save the world. AllMusic gave the album in its review 3,5 (out of 5) stars. About the album title Carbon, Dunckel said: “When you burn it, it doesnʼt go away, Itʼs full of strength - diamonds are crystallized carbon. Carbon is the thing that makes you solid. Itʼs the most important thing in our bodies and in our lives, but weʼre hardly aware of it.” In 2024, Dunckel composed the score for the film The Good Teacher, directed by Teddy Lussi-Modeste.

Filip Nikolic (Serbian: Филип Николић, Filip Nikolić; 1 September 1974 – 16 September 2009) was a Serbian actor and singer and French citizen, best known as the lead of the French band 2Be3.
Born at Saint-Ouen, Seine-Saint-Denis, he was raised with two siblings in Longjumeau, a suburb of Paris.
Filip was a French singer, but he also featured in acting roles in a TV shows such as Navarro and Pour être libre, a series centred on 2Be3. He also appeared in the US movie Simon Sez with Dennis Rodman in 1999. He was also runner-up in the French version of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2006.

Frédéric "Fred" Chichin (French pronunciation: [fʁedeʁik fʁɛd ʃiʃɛ̃]; 1 May 1954 – 28 November 2007) was a French musician, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
He was part of the pop-rock duo Les Rita Mitsouko, along with Catherine Ringer, whom he met in 1979. Prior to his work in Les Rita Mitsouko, Chichin had been active in the rock bands Fassbinder (with Jean Neplin), Taxi Girl (with Daniel Darc), and Gazoline (with Alain Kan).
Chichin died on the morning of 28 November 2007 from heart failure, following complications of the cancer the doctors had diagnosed two months earlier. He was buried 6 December 2007 in a private ceremony at the Parisian cemetery of Montmartre.

Jacques Abel Jules Revaud (French pronunciation: [ʒak abɛl ʒyl ʁøvo]; born 11 July 1940), known as Jacques Revaux ([ʁøvo]), is a French songwriter, most famous for his 1968 writing collaboration with singer Claude François on the song "Comme d'habitude", whose text was reworked by Canadian singer-songwriter Paul Anka into the English language as "My Way", which was in turn a hit first recorded by Frank Sinatra. He co-founded Trema Records with Regis Talar. Revaux also wrote many hit songs for another French singing star, Michel Sardou.

Louis Poterat (2 January 1901 – 6 January 1982) was a French lyricist.

Jean Bertola (1922, La Roche-sur-Foron – 1989) was a French pianist, composer, singer, music arranger and artistic director.
A talented pianist, he worked in a Lyon radio station putting music to texts sent by listeners. He later started arranging for many renowned artists including Charles Aznavour in his début. He won the disc prize in 1957. After a career in singing melodies, he became artistic director with the French label Polydor. A singer songwriter, he became close and artistic secretary for Georges Brassens and backup vocalist on some of Brassens' albums in the 1970s.
He released his own album Dernières chansons in 1982, with text and music from Brassens, and a second album in 1985 titled Le Patrimoine de Brassens.
