James John Hogan (October 17, 1911 – June 14, 2005) was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who served as the sixth bishop of the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown in Pennsylvania (1966–1986). He previously served as an auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Trenton in New Jersey (1959–1966).
Román Arrieta Villalobos, known as Manzanita (1924-2004), was a Catholic Archbishop in Costa Rica. He was born in San Antonio de Belén, Costa Rica, on November 13, 1924. He finished his secondary studies in Heredia before entering the Conciliar Seminary of San José, Costa Rica.
Ordained in the Metropolitan Cathedral of San José on December 18, 1948 by Mons. Víctor Manuel Sanabria Martínez and sent by him to Washington, D.C., to undertake his postgraduate studies. He was consecrated as first Bishop of Tilarán on September 21, 1961 at the Alajuela Cathedral. On July 10, 1979 he was appointed Archbishop of San José, a post he held until his resignation on July 13, 2002.
He took part in the Second Vatican Council where he was a member of the Commission on Canon Law.
He established the Minor Seminary of Tacares. He created a system of Social Security for the church employees, restored the Metropolitan Cathedral, and promoted the establishment of the Universidad Católica de Costa Rica
He died in the home where he was born on March 7, 2004.
José Antonio Dammert Bellido (August 20, 1917 – September 10, 2008) was a Peruvian bishop of the Roman Catholic Church.
Bellido was born in Lima, Peru and ordained a priest on December 21, 1946. Bellido was appointed Auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Lima, along with Titular Bishop of Amathus in Palaestina, on April 14, 1958 and ordained bishop May 15, 1958. On March 15, 1962 he was appointed Bishop of Diocese of Cajamarca and would remain in post until his retirement on December 1, 1992.

Luis Aponte Martínez (August 4, 1922 – April 10, 2012) was a Puerto Rican Catholic prelate who served as Archbishop of San Juan from 1965 to 1999. He is the only Puerto Rican to have been named a cardinal of the Catholic Church. He participated as an elector in the two conclaves of 1978, which elected Popes John Paul I and John Paul II.

Juan Landázuri Ricketts (December 19, 1913, Arequipa, Peru – January 16, 1997, Lima, Peru) was one of the most prominent Roman Catholic Churchmen during the 1960s and 1970s in Latin America. This was a period in which the Church took a strong stance against human rights abuses by numerous military juntas; it also expressed a preference for the poor and concerns about extreme poverty and wealth inequality. Before he turned 80 on December 19, 1993, Juan Landázuri Ricketts was the last Cardinal elevated by Pope John XXIII to retain voting rights in a papal conclave.
Guy-Marie Riobé (1911–1978) was a French Catholic Bishop of Orléans in office 1963 to 1978. He held liberal, progressive views influenced by the climate of the Second Vatican Council.
He became prominent because of an altercation with Admiral Sanguinetti, over France's possession of a nuclear deterrent. He died following a swimming accident. His successor, Jean-Marie Lustiger, avoided any reference to Riobé during his installation after a fifteen-month interregnum (1979).Riobé promoted a de-centered vision of the priesthood, arguing in favor of the creation of new types of ministries.

Géry-Jacques-Charles Leuliet (12 January 1910 – 1 January 2015) was a French prelate of the Roman Catholic Church and at the time of his death, was the oldest bishop of the Catholic Church, at 104 years of age.
Leuliet was born in France and was ordained to the priesthood on 8 July 1933 in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Arras. He was appointed Bishop of Amiens on February 14, 1963 and received his episcopal consecration on 9 May 1963. Leuliet retired as the bishop's dean in France on 15 January 1985. Upon the death of Nguyen Van Thien on 13 May 2012 he became the oldest living Roman Catholic bishop. He died 11 days before his 105th birthday on 1 January 2015.
Joseph-Charles Lefèbvre (commonly Joseph Lefèbvre, 15 April 1892—2 April 1973) was a French cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Archbishop of Bourges from 1943 to 1969 and was made a cardinal in 1960.
He was the cousin of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and the nephew of monarchist and resistance hero René Lefebvre.
