Max Régnier (4 December 1907 - 5 August 1993) was a French dramatist, playwright, theater director and actor. He was managing director of the théâtre de la Porte-Saint-Martin from 1949 up to 1969.
He was the father of actor Yves Rénier.

She was born as Italia Volpiana on 30 January 1913 in Tramutola, Basilicata, Italy. She was an actress and writer, known for La leggenda azzurra (1940), Lacrime di sangue (1944) and Vietato ai minorenni (1944). She was married to Salvo Randone. She died on 26 June 1993 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.

José Guillermo Tormos Vega (born 23 February 1925), known as Joselín, was a Puerto Rican politician and Mayor of Ponce, Puerto Rico from 2 January 1977 to 22 February 1984. Tormos Vega is credited with establishing, during his term as mayor, Centro Ceremonial Indígena de Tibes as a museum.
Erling Asbjørn Kongshaug (22 March 1915 – 14 September 1993) was a Norwegian rifle shooter. He competed in the 1952, 1956 and 1960 Olympics in 50 meter rifle three positions and 50 meter rifle prone and won a gold medal in the three positions event in 1952. He also won 13 medals at the ISSF World Shooting Championships from 1947 to 1954.
Walter Henry Breen Jr. (September 5, 1928 – April 27, 1993) was an American numismatist, writer, and convicted child sex offender as well as the husband of author Marion Zimmer Bradley. He was known among coin collectors for writing Walter Breen's Complete Encyclopedia of U.S. and Colonial Coins. "Breen numbers", from his encyclopedia, are widely used to attribute varieties of coins. He was also known for activity in the science fiction fan community and for his writings in defense of pederasty as a NAMbLA activist.
Jens Christian Mellbye (4 February 1914 – 31 March 1993) was a Norwegian judge. He served as a Supreme Court Justice from 1968 to 1992.
He was born in Oslo as a son of barrister Gunnar Lange Mellbye (1884–1958) and Aagot Maartmann-Moe (1888–1980). He was a brother of Fredrik Mellbye, grandson of Christian Mellbye and first cousin once removed of Johan E. Mellbye. He finished his secondary education at Ris in 1931 and attended the Norwegian Military Academy from 1931 to 1932. He gradually advanced to Captain. In 1938 he took the cand.jur. degree. He was a deputy judge in Skien District Court before being hired as junior solicitor in his father's law firm. He was a barrister with access to working with Supreme Court cases from 1946. During the legal purge in Norway after World War II, Mellbye served as a public prosecutor from 1945 to 1946 and prosecutor in the Supreme Court from 1946 to 1951.He was a defender in Oslo City Court from 1951 to 1961, and in the Supreme Court from 1961 to 1968. He was the chairman of the Norwegian Bar Association from 1965 to 1968. He also chaired the Intelligence Oversight Committee for many years. From 1968 to 1992 he served as a Supreme Court Justice.Mellbye was decorated as a Commander of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav in 1978. He had three children with his wife Ellen Ring Hartmann, whom he married in 1939. He died in March 1993 in Oslo.
Desy Lumini, best known as Daisy Lumini (18 August 1936 - 18 August 1993), was an Italian composer, singer and stage actress.
Born in Florence, at young age Lumini graduated in piano and composition, and began her career as a composer of soundtracks and songs; she later came to fame by participating in numerous Italian television shows.Lumini, who spoke five languages fluently, during her career also toured in the United States (where she participated at The Perry Como Show and sang at Carnegie Hall), France and Germany. In the sixties, after a brief period in the cabaret, she devoted herself to the research and the diffusion of Tuscan folk music, recording many albums with the popular repertoire and put it on shows with the stage company of Beppe Chierici. After working in contemporary musical theater, in the eighties Lumini started a successful collaboration with Salvatore Sciarrino, winning the Prix Italia Award in 1985. In 1993, the day of her birthday, she committed suicide along with her husband Tino Schirinzi, struck by an incurable disease, by jumping from the viaduct under construction on the Bilancino dam near Barberino di Mugello.
Arvid Fladmoe (8 May 1915 – 18 November 1993) was a Norwegian composer and conductor. He was particularly known for his work as conductor of opera and operetta.
